Would be nice to see a Dropbox or spread sheet of "total" airflow each rta/rda has.

One thing I'm curious about is the math for dual air intake. An orchid tank with two 2mm airflow holes does not equate to 4mm for sure.
If the air takes a sharp 90* turn reduce the diameter of the port by x0.7 so 2mm x 0.7 = 1.4mm x 2 = 2.8mm ID total. (Approximately)

first, you would need to know what the capacity of the persons inhale volume and speed is... CFM is dependant on orifice size and pressure ( well vacuum, a max of 14.7 psi can be achieved at the atmospherical side of the orifice)

True. But we can use a make a standard through a CFM measuring machine and not a person.. maybe test smallest air flow to wide open air flow, and with out a build- as a base line.

Watched Phil Busardo last night and he said he`s working on something/someway to measure it????? He sounded serious?

got a link?

Does anyone know of a site or person that measures air flow for RDA's and Tanks?

It would be AWSOME if i knew how the CFM of an atty before I invest in it.
There are sites/people that have tested batteries for specs... but i havent found anything for attys.

For reference only. Link (PDF in the link) below is probably for about 90% of18650 batteries in the market.

Doesn't flavor matter? Air flow is not directly related to flavor, more flow doesnt mean better. The path the airflow travels around the coil matters more. For some tank designs like the kayfun with low airflow flavor is superb for mouth to lung vaping.

He wants to make a flow bench.

Yap, that my first thought. If they can make them for a carburetors, fuel injectors, ect, they can make one for a RTA/RDA, ect.

Of course my next thought after that is "Is that minutia I REALLY need?", LOL. But more power to him. :?)

Of course it matters. But this data would be useful in so many places like cloud competitions, cloud chasers, etc.. me personally, would like a happy medium with big clouds and lots of flavor.

I'm unsure how kayfuns's new products are, but a long. ..long time ago, I've had a kayfuns lite plus. I agree that flavor was intense, but it was a very restrictive in air flow. Again, having this data would be awesome for comparison.
