I might not be understanding what / how you're doing this, to get .6Ω from each coil using 5 wraps of 22ga the ID of each coil would have to be 6.5mm / .25 of an inch.
You said you used 3mm mandrel 5 wraps 22ga /3mmID = .3Ω each coil.
.3Ω each / 2 = .15Ω
The dual coil results info box (lower right corner) on steam engine that shows 10 wraps is for each coil.
You can double check that by modeling a single .6Ω 22ga 3mmID coil. --->
Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators
A single 22ga 3mm ID coil takes 10 wraps ~ .6Ω
.6Ω each /2 = .3Ω
Then modeling a single .3Ω 22ga 3mmID 5wrap --->

A single 22ga 3mm ID takes 5 wraps ~ .3Ω
I have no idea why your istick or dvom shows .3Ω, you never mentioned what rba this is using.
When using a mech you should use the fully charged voltage of 4.2v when calculating battery amp draw.
4.2 /.3 = 14a, still well within the safe range using 20acdr cells.
When using a regulated power device calculating battery amp drain is done differently.
W/V = A per cell.
At the low voltage cutoff amp demand will be highest.
