There have been enough incidents where the government could have stepped in. And if you thought government regulation was bad now, that's nothing after CPSC gets done with something (think what happens after OSHA gets involved with safety issues).
Wonder what the circumstances are for CPSC to get involved vs something being required to have a UL listing. I see that there is a UL listing for lithium batteries that's already been put out.

it's the driver that keeps the car safe, not all the doo dads that's on board . Vaping is about to be steamrolled and paved over by a federal agency that has no answer ability to the people under it's jurisdiction. The storm is here and it's a big 'un. Quibbling over semantics is folly at this point. Man the cannons! It's going to be a rough ride ahead...
