One of the better, and relatively inexpensive authentics, that does come in black (and grey), is the "Colonial" by Mad Industries. Has an excellent, recessed-concave button, and low VD.
The GP Paps v3, Anatolian Hit It, and the BCV XXIX and Surfrider to name a few. The MCR now has a recessed switch.
The first lot went fast, but... if you look on-line, there are some shops doing $100 pre-orders.
I don't know your budget, but speaking from personal experience, the V3 Paps, BCV XXIX and MCR, Firestorm mentioned are also quite nice... although you'd have to black them yourself.
I dont have one but I tinkered with a King at my local shop that had a really nice recessed button. Not black though, was a brushed SS.
Saw Twisted420's video comparing authentic to clone and I swear he said 23 mm. Maybe he did but was mistaken.
If I decide to get the Colonial (don't see why I wouldn't) I'm getting the authentic. But his video was comparing the two. He said both were 23 mm. One site listed it as .9 in diameter.
I have two 22mm mods with recessed buttons: A copper Vanilla clone with magnet upgrade and a Super T Workhorse. Both are nice and hit hard. Of course one is a $30 Chinese clone (that is worth every penny IMO) and the other is a very nice, affordable, made in the USA mod with a lifetime warranty that cost 70 bucks. It's fantastic, with impeccable machining and threads. The button does not lock so it is ideal for setting on a table but I don't carry it in my pocket.
So you feel like the Workhorse would auto-fire in your pocket without a lock? That doesn't sounds very workhorse like, but it does look like a steal for $70.

I actuall dig the styling of the paragon. A lot.
Which is odd, I don't really like "wrapped" mods and I think carbon fiber screams 90's boy racer wannabe.
But it looks really sharp on that mod!
