Looks like my other forum died when people were just arguing on it. But here it goes again.

I've been vaping for a couple of months now on a Vamo. I want to get a mechanical mod next. I am currently leaning towards a telescoping mechanical mod, I don't want to break the bank on it but I also want to make sure it can fit a 18650 batter plus a kick. Any opinions?

The smoktech magneto is a great solid mod for your first mechanical. It is also telescoping. Check it out:)

This, I own a magneto and can tell you that for a fact it will work with an 18650 kicked.

And wow on that other thread. And to the guy the recomended a provari really? How is that anything like the op asked? Is it a mech? Is it telescopic? Will it break the bank? Did you even read the question?

You gotta give what your price range is, yes you can buy a k100, but depending on how much you want to spend, there are better options. 200$ is your max price range for a kick ... mod that will last forever if you take care of it. I wanted a k100, then i researched and decided to go with a Nemesis in matte. Love this thing( KayFun LITE Plus V2 and Dome atomizer!) Then i decided i wanted a mod with a cloud build, so i ordered a King Mod Satin brass, and i adore this too. A k100 is a nice choice to get into it though and cheap. IMO get a k100, a decent atomizer like maybe a Nimbus, get a real atomizer. Then get some real nice juices like Vapor chef, nicoticket or Gremlin and go to town!

K101 mods are good to start out with and people love them even though it's " cheap " Otherwise get something like the Nemesis, Magneto with the Adjustable pin version, King mod, Theres plenty out there.

Also surprised no one brought up Ebay, I always order stuff from there and they have pretty much every mech I've ever wanted to look at.

I have a Galileo and love it now. The 501 pin screw assembly had a spring in it, basically a coil. It fried. I took out the assembly carefully removed the brass with an exacto knife. Went to the hardware store, got a package of 1/4 od rubber o-rings, then a brass no 6 screw x1/2 long I put three washers in the nylon where the old brass assembly was. Screwed in the no 6 screw into the o-rings now I have an adjustable pin. And no resistance from the spring. Hits much harder.
