Mechanical mod to work with USB?

I have a Smoktech telescope. Has anyone tried to make it work with a USB?

Im down to one battery and its charging right now :-/. So I thought with if I strip a USB cable and do something with the wires... hmmm?

USB won't handle the current. If you connect it to a laptop for example, it is likely to blow the motherboard. Even if you connect it to an external charger, the thin wires are very likely to overheat.

Might be able to modify the Provari Pass Thru to work, or just slide it in to vape, pull it out to stop. Be easier to have spare batteries though. Cheaper too. lmao

Im not an expert on USB current supplies but Im thinking the answer is no, not as a direct replacement for a current source. Considering the contact points in the plug, wire "thin-ness" and the normal use of a USB, the current needed to run at the same level of a mechmod is seriously lacking... just doesnt have the ooomph kinda like needing a 4" fire hose but using a 1/2" garden hose to do the same job.
