ultra they are really nice and I love that it doesnt leak. One thing you have to consider is are you going to be able to live with the finish on an ultra it tarnishes in 1 day and turns black if you dont care then it is a great mod. I have covered mine with a skinn so I dont have to clean it and it still looks good. The res works and I dont have to drip as often. When I like to drip alot of flavors in a row the juice never leaks out the bottom. If I over drip the res catches it all. There is some learning involved and once you get good at filling the res and knowing when to refill it works good. You can always use it without the res also. I have a small tank i use on mine if I need a larger amount of juice when it is inconvenient to refill the res.

I have 2 mechanical mods a Reo Grand and a Ultramax.I gotta say of the 2 the Ultramax wins, theres no leaks, the RES is great and adds no flavor to your juice, and it vapes great.I have been using mine now for a week and have not noticed any need for polishing yet.I bought it used so maybe the guy treated it with something I don't know but it's still shiny as the day i got it.My Reo and Buzzpro don't get much use now I love this mod.

I say empire all the way because it takes multiple batts. I have a Megaladon which is kinda the same thing and it does every combo I throw at it! The only thing I don't like is that its 901 native and I hate adapters. But Super T makes some of the BEST mechanical mods out there. SS finish is beautiful and I believe they are warranteed for life.

Not to make your decision more difficult, but have you seen the copper mods from Vapor Alley? I have been using a Q2V3 for a couple months, and it has quickly became my primary PV. It is reasonably priced, built like a tank, and, with different bats, will vape at 3.7, 5, 6, and 7.4 volts(Boba's Bounty at 6v, on a dual-coil carto, is my current "sweet spot".). Also, Super T will be releasing the P+ 18650 soon--a top shelf, american-made mod that will handle the same voltage combos(I think).

I like the all-brass copper, though, because every ding and bit of patina adds character to the mod, and I wanted a reasonably-priced mod that would stand up to an unreasonable amount of abuse.

Of course, if you feel like going big or going home, there is a very low number GGTS semi-buried in the classifieds.
