I am fairly new to vaping (analog free 270 days) started out with ego 650 currently using vamo v2.Looking to step up to a mechanical mod. Are efest 18650 2000mah safe for a mech mod? I'm not a cloud chaser.I am using Kanger PTII and t3s's my coils are 2.0-2.5ohm.

The Efest 18650 2000mAh are high drain IMR batteries (so safer chemistry) listed as 10A and "high quality" (see Battery Basics for Mods: IMR or Protected ICR?). They are fine for a mech mod and will handle a 2.0+ ohms atty (at 2 ohms with a fully charged battery i.e 4.2v, you'll draw 2.1 Amps) without any problem.

PS : While being listed as 10A (which is probably the wise choice given the lack of consistency in the C rating or continuous discharge rate), HKJ also wrote in his review that both v1 and v2 do not perform well above 5A. But again, this leaves you plenty of room, you are totally fine at 2.0+ ohms.
