I sold off a good deal of the random stuff but kept some of the fun stuff that are not around any more. :)

I will ad them to one of the photos or make a separate pile depending on room. :)

I hope it your total collection not just the REOs. Back when you posted the last pic it was impressive and can only be even more now.:)

I have the proto type dialed in . This will be a mechanical mod the button will be on the side . Finally a wood mod with a button that wont die I am stoked about that .
Anti button masher built in another bonus . Break a contact no problem users will be able to change the contacts on there own . I dont see this happening ever actually I have set the mod up so you cant over compress the button . Springs will be very much like a grand not soldered if you drop a spring it will be easy to replace .
So the journey begins shooting for 250 to 300 woodvils . These will all have the new stainless steel adjustable hoople proof 510 connections .
I will post picks of the proto type this weekend early next week at the latest . Of course the proto type wont have the new 510 connection I am still waiting for the parts .
The mod will look very much like a standard woodvil on the outside a whisker shorter the on off switch will be built into the button

Just so Im clear...this new 510 will handle most RDAs and not be restricted by the old type drip well?

You went with the side button eh?...It's a Woodvil tradition, I totally get it...not that I can't wait for the big unveiling or that it's any of my business but I'm curious...did you put the switch batt side or 510 side?...I'm pretty sure you stuck with convention so you went 510 side...but because of the floating pos. pin my best mech proto to work reliably was by using the outer barrel of the 510 as a contact point...but that meant switching the neg. (it's just a convention thing, the coil doesn't care and batt orientation stays the same...) again, just curious, feel free to tell me to mind my own business

The push button switch is on the same side as the 510 side of the mod . You will see its dead simple . There are so many ways to get the job done I was pulling my hair out and I finally decided most people love the side button on woodvils . All I cared about was making it hoople proof and if the owner of the mod needed to he could service the unit

I prefer top buttons 100%...I'm a guy, when I'm not vaping it's in my back pocket...I have a few side button mods but they rarely get out to play...they phantom fire in my back pocket, in the console of my truck, in my briefcase, etc....those side buttons...they're no good I tell ya :D

True that...btw, good news (better yet, confusing news)...my DNA Woodvil came back to life...before just hacking out the vestigial organ I had the presents of mind to touch all my joints with the iron (cold joint?, though it seems odd, cause it did work)...and what do you know, it works as designed now

...I'll test it hard for a couple days to see if it's just not some autumnal equinox thing ...if I'm at least confident with it then it's going up in the classy's (or at least give the the Reoville folks first didb's)...they're really not for for me...maybe someone wants it?

Before you get all excited and call dibs...this is pretty utilitarian compared to Turbo's

20141106_011921.jpg20141106_012016.jpg20141106_012116.jpg

DNA 30 chip, Solid Zebra (new door, round hole), recessed side switch (batt side),, will take flat's or buttons, It's a based on a Blemished Woodvil shell (and there's a failed ball tact that's been epoxied over on the top and blended in. 510 is flushed and will take any RDA...treated with straight tung....not a show stopper by any means...

At any rate, if it passes the confidence test Mama has first right of refusal...Mama's has some nice gear, maybe if this is a go I'll put it on the "swap" thread so it's legit.

YOWZAH! Rob, you've really got timing! You've just made my week! I know I speak for many here when I say - I really appreciate the amount of thought and hard work you put into designing and putting out amazing mods. You've created a brand that precedes you, and I am confident this upcoming Woodville will strengthen that.

I like a top button myself on a wood mod this can be a problem for people with small hands .
