I've got it set at the most airy it will go, and it's still way too tight. Is there a way to drill it out?
I had the same problem with my kayfun I prefer lung inhales and it just was too tight for me Sold it last week
Did you disassemble it completely?
I had 2 that had insulator material in both airholes in the positive pin...and 1 didn't have the air duct drilled completely through to the AFC screw hole...just a thought.

I'm curious UKE, what ohm are you vaping at? I guess my real question is At what point does the button start to melt on a stock REO?
I've got a fuse mod in mine but the stock firing pin and vape all day every day at .5ohm and have never had an issue with the button. I'm not sure if the fuse mod makes a difference or not. If you're getting oxidation make sure you noalox the tip/battery top.

Yeah SeaNap, that fuse may be all the difference… mine is stock and I threw a dual coil Cyclone on it thinking, short pulls, what the hell, since i'm waiting for the new kit.
but i did get some melting on the button… don't know why; arcing, heat whatever… its a no no below .6 imo.
I was able to file down the button to clean it up and nothing happened to the spring thank God, but I have a couple of modded units from the Bee dude… YESSS!!!
So i am going to put my new LP Reo Grand tumbled raw with black silver vein door up for sale… the Cyclone too (with AFC and stock cap).

This thread kinda got off track, but I'm curious what the status is on the upgrade kits. Are we still right around the corner for a release or has this been postponed?
The new prototypes passed the order has been placed .Were looking at 4 to 8 weeks . I have asked if they can give me me the first thousand pieces early . If I can get some early we will see them sooner
Me to I want them more then you guys and I dont need them for my mod . The stock contacts work great for my coils
Good enough for me... I don't mind waiting on kits now that we know it's a go and will be available. Just dropped an order for a tumbled LP grand =)

Great news!!! Hey, just out of curiosity, will the new firing pin have a pointy tip like the current ones or a rolled tip? Also, will the spring be a hot spring or no? I'm guessing no, but just curious.
I already got mine I'm an omega tester the last person to get one.... okay so lying isn't my best suit. But this is good news because they'll be out after the wood run and when I wont be so broke from buying wood. WOOT! WOOT!
