are flat tops going to work with the new sub ohm kits?
According to Robert, yes they will be "no problem"

I have a silver mini (14500) and its a smooth finish, anodized I believe. On the TRA, you can actually see a gazillion tiny scratches in the surface (if you hold it at an angle). Even though it's "scratched", it's as smooth to the touch as the silver anodized one.

Hmmm...that's how I would describe the one I'm holding as well but don't think it is tumbled raw. Maybe I'll have to order a TRA so I can compare ;-).
Dumb question, which side of the RM2 is the positive post? Is it the shorter one?
I tried mine earlier across the RM2 posts with a 0.5ohm coil installed.
Fresh 18650 AW IMR battery read 4.21 volts, across the posts it read 3.2 volts.
Is it normal to drop that amount of voltage ?
center post is positive

With the old contacts?
But the RM2 has no center post?

The one closest to the drain hole is negative.
Ancient puffer. Did you measure under load? I.e.with an atomizer and coil installed? If not then thats why you didn't see a voltage drop. Connect your meter to the positive and negative posts in the atomizer with a cool installed
