yep, if you like a nice regulated vape at a constant wattage or voltage then mechs are NOT the way to go

now if you do not care about flavor and just want to blow giant high wattage clouds then a mech with a subohm coil is the way to go, just make sure you have the battery safety knowledge and the correct batteries to do it (and a lot of them - sub ohm high wattage vaping eats up battery charges quick)

an option to use your mech mod would be to get a kick 2 and run it with 18500 batteries

I am not a cloud fanatic . I want normal cloud , good flavor and th . Someone in this forum clam that the vape experience ,giving all the parameters are equal ( power and built )the mech is far superior compere to a regulated device .

Put a Kick2 in your Nemesis, set the watts where you like, and you won't know the difference.

With everything like for like the Nemesis with Kick will last longer on a battery charge than the VV/VW device because there are no on-board electronics drawing power when you aren't using it.

im wondering about this also. I have the provari with a kayfun lit plus that im in love with. im about to place an order for an orange nemesis, stainless steel nemesis, stainless steel stingray, brass stingray, and another kayfun lite plus. Am I gonna be disappointed in the difference from my provari?

I can't predict. Some would be disappointed w/ mech and some disappointed w/ provari. Why not order one instead of four mech mods if unsure?

because I have become a mod junkie lol. I only have vv/vw devices right now though. I really like the way the mechs look and have tried out a chi you. Just read that the nemesis and stingray are even better.

I have clone Chi You (Brass) and steel Nemmy clone, the Chi You hit's tiny bit harder...but it really depends on what's top of it, what coil (single/dual, resistance, wicking material), what juice etc....some Mods do have better voltage drops...like Cronus, and Stingray...

I would suggest researching both if you want fully appreciate Mechs...research drippers, Kayfun style tops, etc

Kayfuns work best on a regulated mod imo, on a fresh battery in a mech they burn to hot (for me) and they don't last long at the sweet spot before i have to change the battery. If you're getting a lot of mech's I'd recommend getting a Kick and a Trident...and some Sony VTC4's of course.

I prefer mech for all toppers. Others prefer VV or VW. Pros and cons. My single coil sweet spot for aqua, drippers and genny style is 1 to 1.2 ohms. I enjoy the vapor down to around 3.5 volts. At 3.5 volts I instinctively press fire button longer and am not bothered by drop off. Sometimes I'm not paying attention and vape down below 3.2 volts.

Depends how you define the word. I just got my first mechanical. ONE device to start :) A Hcigar nemmy clone for a wopping $50 bucks. I'm about flavor or should I say FLAVOR. I already have a couple of ProVaris and a gaggle of KayFuns like KFL+ V2, Russian 91, KF Black and probably some I cant even remember. I consider the Kick 2 required for the way I vape and the hardware I use. The little sucker sits inside the tube of my nemmy clone and you just dial in your desired Wattage to fine tune your vape. No need to spend your life with more builds just for your mechanical which is fine for others. Of course the Kick 2 costs about $45.

Flavor is identical with my KF or my RDA. I love the look of my nemmy clone. I'm not sure yet but it might be a chick magnet. /lol

What no one has talked about is the inherent trade off with respect to tweaking your mechanical. I'm NOT complaining because the look justifies it. Without ECF I would have never been able to tweak my mechanical the way I wanted it. Expect to spend some time tweaking as opposed to the ProVari which is really bolt and vape. BOTH have their place but YOU should understand these issues before you take the plunge.
