First off hello, I just recently join and blah blah junk (insert random babbling)

I myself am not an e-cig/vaporizer user but I used to be a smoker, i don't mind my friends smoking around me, and think that the idea of the e-cig/vaporizer is wonderful since it eliminates so many issues that normal cigarettes cause both health wise and to the public eye. I have MANY friends that still smoke and they have almost all switched to these wonderful devices and even I considered smoking again because of them.. but thats another story.

I just am trying to get some information regarding the use of an e-cig device with certain products. I stopped smoking shortly before getting married about 4 years ago and had a short stint about 2 years ago where i started up again, one of my main "addiction" in smoking was the clove kretecks, particularity Djarum Blacks, which is what I mainly smoked. About a year and a half ago when I stopped I started developing strange medical problems and pain all associated with my abdomen. CTs, MRIs, surgeries, ER visits, and many medications later, I still have no determination for what is wrong with my body or any treatment which resolves it. I started having on of my random and all to frequent "attacks" and got a notion to look up cloves and their medicinal purposes a few days ago and what I found shocked me and my wife.... one of the main things clove is used to treat in many cultures from India, to China, to Africa is abdominal and digestive health as well as topical pain relief (orally and when drank in watered solutions for digestive). Me and the wife had toyed with the idea jokingly that I should just start smoking again to fix my problems so this is now causing some... questioning if u catch my drift

That's where an e-cig/vaporizer would come in. I have put this off and everything because I really didn't want to start smoking again for its health effects as well as those of my daughter and soon to be second child, but after reading on cloves medical effects I have debated. In test, I went to Starbucks and purchased a Chai tea (Chai being a mixture of black tea, clove, and other spices) and a few minutes after drinking had pain taper off for a few hours as well as other effects of my problems. It didn't offer full relief but it enabled me to continue through my day and concentrate on things other than pain and sickness. The issues arisen with this though:

1. Don't want to start smoking again, old fashioned style with tobacco or using nicotine period
2. Chai tea is not cheap, $3 for a hour or so of relief adds up fast
3. Chai can be made myself but it takes time to heat up water, brew it, and start drinking for relief to hit.

I'm looking to get the dose of stuff into my system quicker, cheaper, and have it readily available to be taken in small amounts consistently to keep symptoms to a minimum but also available for a boost if an "attack" arises.

I have done some research and I know it is possible to get clove e-fluid and order it as a flavoring w/o the nicotine but most of these say they are clove "flavor" which defeats the purpose since it is not the actual product usually.

I'm wanting to look into getting an e-cig device to use as a medical inhaler of clove for this purpose since inhalation has a quick absorbtion and dispersion into the body than ingestion. But want to make sure that everything can go good with it as such since most e-cig sets are not exactly cheap to start off and this would be a life long used investment. I have researched clove oils but am not sure these are safe to use inhaled when vaporized and that the use of oils in e-cigs damages them. What I need or need info on is:

1. A system where the uses stated above is possible
2. A fluid which can be used in the device that is REAL and not a flavor and preferred without nicotine
3. If no such fluid exists, options or information if it is possible to make the fluid for my "inhaler" myself.

Any and all help is appreciated. Those who answer with helpful info will be helping someone to take their life back!!! Ty...

Unfortunately, I just don't think e-cigs are going to be your answer for this.

You COULD use clove oil (actual clove oil, not flavoring) in nic free DIY juice, but it can be rough on your atomizers....

However my guess would be that the clove is only going to help with your stomach problems if ingested orally, I doubt vaping it would have the intended effect at all.
(Just guessing tho)

It's so interesting that you mention Starbucks Chai Tea....I have had stomach issues for years and started drinking Starbucks Chai Tea daily for the past 2 years and I don't have nearly the stomach problems that I once had. I always looked at having my Chai a day as good medicine, no big Pharma costs/side effects associated with it, plus I'm getting the calcium I need. I usually have a chai instead of lunch....My doc prescribed all kinds of meds for the stomach and I don't need them any more now. I know I spend $90.00+ a month on chai tea, but that's a small price to pay for good health. Now I look at vaping the same way...I can get my nicotine fix and won't have to worry about going out and killing a stranger while I try to quit smoking on Chantix, lol!

I've done lots of study on essential oil and herbs and use a lot of them. I don't know if clove oil would be your answer but it is a very strong antimicrobial and was one of the ingredient used by grave robbers during the black plague. It cannot be used on the skin without being diluted at least 10 to 1. I am a newbie when it comes to e cigs but plan on using some diluted eucalyptus oil as a lung heal vape and may add my own grapeseed extract as well. I think the e cig could be a good aplication for medicine straight to the lungs but since your problem is the stomach it may not help except that I know smoking does relieve pain and vaping may as well. I would do a web search on KOMBUCHA. Have you tried probiotics? I regularlly use NOW FOODS YEAST DEFENCE with 8 different probiotics.

Nhaler has their lung juice (which contains a few herbal stuff). Which I know doesn't have Clove but you can ask the owner if its possible.

I've been inquiring about putting Yerba Mate extracts in e-liquids (its in CigRX) so was wondering if it'll help the cravings for a cig I get sometimes.

I think it would be great to find out how to add plant extracts or herbs to my vapes. I have only purchased something with Vitamin C added from VaporRenu (no taste is added to the original flavor). I like it a lot. Have no idea how much it helps.

Like providencewouldhaveit, I take about 10 herbal/plant extracts a day. I will ask my Rahaologist when I see her tomorrow and see what she thinks.
