I have received my drip tips. These are very nice.
E-liquid slides right down and no liquid has set at the bottom of the tip. I have been using them (I purchased 2) for about 2 hours now.
One of the things I like is that these are handblown. I don't think any two would have the exact same shape-don't know how they could.
I am preferring the regular tip over the tapered tip. Don't hold me to that statement as I said, I have only been using them for a couple hours.
No transfer of heat is happening and I take 6-8 second hits.
The bottom ledge (under the o-ring) on the regular tip could use a bit more surface area. It pops out (from the atomizer) a bit too easy. I have spoken with John about this and they will address this issue. I would be wary of taking that particular tip out and about. For fear of losing it.
The regular tip doesn't work well with the cone on the ego ( the issue seems to be that ledge again), but the tapered tip works.
The o-rings were a bit big (thickness wise) to fit in the 510/901 and I have spoken with John about this issue also and he will drop the o-ring down a size. The o-rings are catching on the side of the atomizer and made it difficult to insert, he has a couple new o-rings in the mail to me. This is of no moment seeing as I drip all the time and have o-rings I can use from other tips.
Customer service is top notch with theEcig company. I sent an e-mail about my thoughts on the tips and John called me within 10 minutes of my sending the e-mail.
I am hoping that they are able to come out with some more colors-black would look awesome on black pv's and so on. The 2 I have are clear.
I am going to go eat dinner and then I'll come back and post a couple pics.
