Howsit guys been a while since I posted here.

I found a second hand grand the other day which I initially sold to someone who sold it on. I then noticed it going up for sale and I bought it back lol.

needless to say it was not in very good condition externally the internals were upgraded recenly to the SO contacts.

I then tried to find a solution to fix the aesthetics of the device and foun a guy that does hydro coating.

Long story short sent it in last week and got it back today. I quite chuffed of how it turned out.

yep its a special kind of paint job. google hydro coating im sure there is tons of guys that does it in the states

I always wanted to do this to my reo (I still need to buy the reo though)
the easiest way should be using di-noc vynil by 3m

with help of a hair drier it could bend

@tmel I am based in cape town south africa. you can google coatit cape town to get an Idea of what the process is. im sure there are guys on your side doing it. this guy specialise in hydro coating car parts as well as harleys you name it they can coatit

yes its durable. they use this technology on engine covers harley fuel tanks etc
