Happy day. Out of the blue, two new reo grands with the fancy new hoopleproof 510 connectors arrived with the mail.
How could it be out of the blue, you say? Well, I ordered them and Rob dutifully shipped them to lil ol' me in the frozen wastelands of Canada, but as a joke the capricious gods of USPS shipping sent them across the ocean, and these two wandering souls were last tracked to Japan. Yep, you read that right. Tokyo, to be specific...

Nothing Rob did, you understand - this is on USPS - and while I was waiting to formulate a plan of attack, lo and behold, they showed up at my door, apparently well taken care of and prattling on about sake, geishas, and kabuki theatre, all in a heavy New England accent and clearly hung over.
Now, why was I waiting before springing into action? Another good question. Well, I've had this happen before. Those same USPS gods (with the very droll sense of humour) once sent a Nuppin' of mine to Isreal....

The Nup' got to me after a time, and so I thought that the wandering reos might come to their senses and similarly get back on task, which, evidently, they did, in fact.
So, without further ado, may I present to you my ronin samurai reos, Kobe and Yojimbo....

Kobe, on the left, is pictured sporting the aforementioned well-travelled (and as far as we know, only kosher) Nuppin'.
While I thought they would need a rest from the journey, it looks like we'll be up much of the night discussing tall tales from far away lands.
