So I found the "MEGA 900mAh super high capacity manual pushbutton battery for Joye eGo e-Cigarette. Genuine joyetech!". Boy thats a mouth full.... any way I would post a link to it but I don't have enough posts yet, but it is found on vaporkings.com under joye eGo. So I guess I was wondering what anyone who has used it, opinion is? I just found it strange that I have seen no mention of it, buy everyone has been raving about the Riva because it has a slightly bigger battery.

I got mine from heaven-gifts.com :) came in after a record-breaking 3 days delivery. It completely blew my mind away. Together with new steel drip tips that also came in the package, the entire setup took me to a new eGo experience.

Comparing the 900mah to my stock eGo, the 900mah seems to pack more punch and my vape is thicker, using the same atty + drip tip in my self-test (although on paper, they should be the same 3.7V batts, based on experience, the 900mah is performing better for me). It also lasts me longer of course, 2 days average as opposed to the 1 day that the 650mah's.

I was so happy with its perfomance that i now have 2 900mah egos, all stainless steel even with the drip tips and the cone, and my 2 black 650mah egos are kept in my bag just as backup.

In summary, i absolutely recommend it, and i also recommend that you try the steel drip tips and the LR attys that the supplier i mentioned carry as well! :)

So, I got my 900mah eGo kit from Clouds of Vapor...and very inexpensively to boot!!!

I can't say enough good about this model: it's rugged, powerful, and feels good in the hands. I'll be honest, I have no clue how long the batt lasts, as I rotate between the two by charging batt A at night, using batt B the next day, charging batt B later that night, and so on...

...but I have yet to run out of power. Nothing inspires the confidence in knowing I'll have batt power all day long like one of these batts. I even vape with LR atties/cartos all-day, and the batt's still hitting hard up until bedtime.

Definitely recommend these...once you go Mega eGo, you won't wanna go back! :)

Homeish now
I use and prefer the mega ego's....I like the extra length on them. IDK feel more comfortable in my hand then the shorter standard ones.
several places sell them...domestic vapors, good prophets, clouds of vapor ect

They do Not last 12-24 hours for me, but regulars dont last 6-8 for me either (shrug..I'm hitting it to much I guess)

Ok cool, I guess my next question is, has anyone seen an ego kit that comes with it?

I've seen a couple suppliers with decent prices on eGo Mega hardware, just depends on what you need...

If you already use/possess 510 cartos and/or atties, then your best bet is ordering ala-carte from Clouds of Vapor:

2x Mega eGo batts, 1x eGo cone, 1x eGo charger: $58.46
**Minus 10% discount for bigbuyer coupon code:** $52.61
Add $6 shipping: $58.61

Soooo, yeah...For under $60, *shipped*, you can have pretty much everything necessary for the eGo Mega. Now, if you don't have 510 atties/carts/cartos, etc...You could either (1) order from CoV [Bruce's prices are pretty competitive, and he has both the new E2 and LR cartos), or (2) check out Domestic Vapor once she gets her site straightened out. I believe she recently reduced the price on her eGo Mega kits drastically, but only temporarily (as per mention from the suppliers forum)

Personally, I'd go with CoV if I were you. My gear was here in two days, well-packaged, functions flawlessly, and Bruce does a great job of taking care of the customers.

Hope this helps! :)

That's strange that the Tornado is 1000mah... wonder if it makes much of a difference???

I bought my first eGo about 6 months ago, if I remember correctly, and there's no sign of wear or the batteries giving up.

The eGo (etc.), especially the Mega has improved vaping for me dramatically! What a difference from when I first started vaping and the PV of choice by the masses was a 510! With an LR atty and a Delron mini drip tip it can't get much better IMO.

I also like the eGo atty and cart with the Mega when I don't want to worry about running out of battery or juice. It feels like a Mack truck - a real workhorse and it's the size of a cigar! It's nice to not have to fool around with my PV all the time. :vapor:

In the 8 months I've been vaping there have been some great improvements in hardware and it's exciting to think where it will go from here! :) The 510 was the easiest for new vapers but now it's hard to recommend it when the eGo (etc.) is so much better and not much more money.

I think I'll always love my 5v box mods the best when I'm at home, though.

What the hell.... Is there a "kit" for that thing( I like boxes...:D) and is it ego/510 compatible?

Not sure why not but I don't see any 1000mAh starter kits? And Yes, they are full eGo/510 compatible.

...

It's about a 1/4" longer than an Janty / Joye XL eGo battery. That's the only thing I can see. I got one of them because they were the only place at the time that offered them in Auto.

Haven't had any issues with it. And it will last me all day.

zoi, do you drip with your auto?

I don’t drip at all. I tried it and found that it wasn’t that much better, for me, than using a good carto. If you do drip, then you should Not use Any type of Automatic battery.

An auto battery. O_O oh my... lol. I have never had a chance to use one. I heard they were sensitive with turning on, little wind through them and the kick on, plus they limit how long you draw. What is your take on the auto battery, how does it work and what is it that you like about the auto over a manual?

All Auto Batteries, like all Attys, like All Cartos are Not the same. Some auto batteries do have a short cut-off and they will piss you off. Some have a limit to how many hits you can take in a one minute time span. Again, Annoying.

But many auto batteries have a very long cut-off, 20 seconds or more and no limit to how many hits per minute. These are the good auto’s. My 510 and my eGo batteries are like this. BTW – The cut off is so that the battery can not get stuck on and fry your atty or carto.

I like auto’s because they feel more like smoking. They can be used at about any angle so they are nice for things like stealth vaping. You can also put them in your pocket or a carrying case and not worry about a button getting push in by accident.

I never found the hit of a 510 or eGo auto battery to be much different than a manual so I go with autos because of the things mentioned above.

*UPDATE*

I jussssst now managed to completely drain a 900mAh eGo batt...

I've been using it since yesterday morning! I dunno about you all, but I'd say two solid days' worth of moderate-to-heavy-at-times vaping is pretty friggin' good!! It wasn't until earlier when I was on the phone that I realized, "hey, I'm still using the same batt I was using yesterday", figured I'd keep on going until it ran outta juice. Here it is, 5-something in the morning, about 6hrs. after I made that statement, and it's finally dead. I've been hitting the button almost non-stop since that point, too! :D

Man I love my Mega eGo!!! :D

(Oh, and I've been using nothing but LR cartos, too...) :)
