OK, I tried to place an order today on what I presume is the final day of the sale. $12 for a Vivi Nova with 20% off seemed like a pretty good deal, plus a couple of juices.

Well, apparently not.

First off, I couldn't find how to register an account---the only options were Login (for existing accounts) or Checkout as Guest. So I went through the Guest Checkout, thinking that I'd be given the option to open an account by specifying a name and password. Uh, wrong.

I also reached the end of the checkout process (twice) and could not find any way to enter the coupon code. If it's there, and I just missed it, it sure as heck isn't obvious. (I saw on the Steals and Deals thread that someone else complained about encountering the same problem---nowhere to enter the code---so it's not just me.)

Then I tried sending an email to Andrea asking for help. When I clicked the Send Email button on the Plume Room contact page, it took me to some strange site that required membership. So I copied Andrea's email address (andrea@theplumeroom.com) and manually sent the email---which was immediately returned as undeliverable.

Then I called on the phone, and got the most oddly complicated voicemail setup I've encountered for quite awhile. I hung up. 15 minutes later, I called again. Same result. No one picked up, and I was shunted to the voicemail from purgatory.

After all that, I just emptied my cart and chalked it up to the universe telling me not to spend any money.

Look, I don't mean to be cranky or unpleasant, but making it this hard for a new customer to place an order---especially during a sale---seems like a less-than-optimal way to run a successful business. No real offense meant, I'm just venting a little frustration.

Thank you, billherbst, for your patience & calling me to bring this to my attention! (And it was a pleasure chatting with you!) :)

I apologize for the inconvenience:oops:.The coupon issue has been resolved- (it gets entered after you put in shipping info.)-and I am extending the sale until the 20th in case anyone else has had the same issue.

You dont have to log in to check out- an account is automatically created once you place an order. (This is meant be hassle free!)
