EDIT: Can I change my mind? I like #9 now. Kristen, if you were keeping a running vote count, my previous vote was #15.

Julie, that one is worded carefully to be directed at SPECIFIC smokers - the ones who tell e-cig users that they look "stupid with that thing" and should just "smoke the real thing." Many of us have run into that ironic attitude. The message isn't directed at non-smokers to say "like me more because smokers are more stupid." The message is directed at cynical smokers who make fun of vapers, because they are ironically the "pot calling the kettle black." Basically, if you aren't a smoker making fun of vapers (or thinking of it) then it's not directed at you. It also reinforces that vapor is not smoke.
You know how I feel about not scapegoating smokers. This isn't meant to do that in any way. But it is something that a lot of us can relate to as vapers. I tried to make these not just advocacy related, but also something vapers may just wear around other vapers or for fun. Not everyone want something serious and activist related. Since we would sell these for fundraising, the more that appeal to a wider vaping audience the better.
If #6 isn't worded clearly enough to convey the message, it can be tweeked. But I think a lot of vapers can relate and don't feel to bad since it's a rebuttal, not an attack.
Kristin,
My wish is that we try to change the terminology away from terms like "e-cig" or any wording with cigarette in it, with the hope of changing the perception that vaping is the same as smoking. I think more people who don't smoke are becoming aware of vaping. If those of us who vape refer to it as vaping and/or using a "personal vaporizer" - PV or any other better wording, then eventually the public at large will start to refer to it that way and their perception will be that vaping is NOT smoking. Just my 2 cents worth.
Also, how about using the phrase: "I Vape to Live and Live to Vape"
That might be the intent, but I just don't think it comes across that way. I think many smokers, not surprisingly, are rather defensive. I'd rather not go this particular route, making smokers the .... of a joke. (pun intended.)
OK, how about "You may think it looks stupid, but it's better than an oxygen tank!" or something like that?
I have run across a bunch of people that when they hear me say "Vape" they think I am talking about Drugs. That we really don't want. Any thoughts on that anyone?
I've never had that happen to me or had anyone else on here mention that. When I explain that it is a personal vaporizer that produces water vaper, I believe they get the idea of what "vape" means.
Kristin, you didn't like "I Vape to Live & Live to Vape"?? I would buy that. (along with a cool design, lol)
