I am making a menthol ejuce and have made 3 batches now the first 2 in plastic jars and the last one in blue glass I'm using a 60/40 with 20% menth flavor and on all 3 of them as the jars steeped they turned in to jell or in one that was in glass was crystal in the top what is going wrong

Menthol crystals tend to separate. 20% seems like a large concentration, making it harder for the crystals to completely dissolve.
A warm bath will help temporarily. Adding a small amount of alcohol can help to keep them from separating out.

Thx Boiler that helped a lot I ended up thinning the mix to a 10% and am crossing my fingers I just kinda got this one thrown at me I have never delt with straight menthol b4 we are using pre made menthol flavoring so I didn't deal with any crystals but it's been a nightmare trying to make this juce
