Does anyone weigh Menthol Crystals for a more precise mixture if so what weight (Grams) to PG ratio are you using?

I use a measuring spoon. 1/2 Tbsp/10ml PG/10ml PGA. I use this in my parents' 180ml batch of 20mg 60/40. I could weigh it on my digital scale to give exact weight if you like.
Do you use the entire 20ml menthol mix in the 180ml batch? I'm looking for a base to build on.
I used the 1/2 teaspoon to 10 ml pg as well. I found it too diffucult to weigh 1 gram on my scale. its strong and dissovled completely. I did have heat it a little bit, it did not re-cystalize at all.
I just use the angel tears from rawr I think there menthol is great. Its really strong too 1 drop per 10ml you get a cool throat hit.
I have that, but I'm into making my own now and not going back.
I decided to try what the directions said (below) and I believe it is going to be really strong.
TIP: To dissolve, fill a container half way with VG or PG, then the other half with menthol crystals. Shake until dissolved. Heating the VG or PG first will speed up the process. Try starting out at 5% in your recipe of that solution that you made.
this is a near hit or miss subject i think, some may think that 1:10 ml might be good, some may say a strong 3:10 part may be better as you may use 100 PG so that the solution is stronger and you need less drops, in which doesnt alter the PG/VG ratio of your main juice
I love menthol and have read many post regarding making menthol drops. I think the best advise on making menthol or em drops was from DAN. He taked about repeatable results. This makes a lot of sense to me. You can desolve as many crystals in a liquid as you can and I don't think it will make a lot of difference how exacty you do it . However, making a solution that you can repeatly make time after time is valuable. So that your recipes will not change from batch to batch depending on the consentration of menthol or EM you are using.
It actually works out to 25ml with the mass of menthol crystals diluted in 20ml of liquid. Yes, I use it all in the 180ml mix. My parents were Salem smokers, so they prefer a very strong menthol. I snitch a few ml for now and then and it's tolerable to a non-menthol user. It's never caused cracks in their tanks for reference. IIRC it works out to 15% menthol flavoring, but the mix is the variable. Finding a mix that suits you for DIY is the key. For example if you start with 1/10 menthol/PG, the actual concentration in your end liquid will be less than if you start with a 3/10 menthol/PG.
I guess this thread is ultimately trying to establish that menthol flavor mix? I'll get that weight before the end of today for ya!
