Hello, I have a question guys! I'm sure you are aware of the Cool Rush flavoring from LExpress. Can you tell me the difference between your menthol drops and his flavoring? I am assuming as a flavoring, you have to add so much more of it. Would one be able to use your drops less expensively to put just a few drops in to add flavor back into menthol and give the same results?

The menthol drops are just that, really strong menthol. The cool rush is a flavoring with a hint of menthol in it. I have tried vaping just the menthol and it tastes like vaping Vicks Vapor Rub, not very good. I even tried toning it down with a lot of PG and VG and some Loranne's (peppermint, spearmint and wintergreen) but since these all have oil in them, just a drop (they are really strong too), not a good idea to use anyway. These ended up being tossed and the reason for ordering the Cool Rush. With the base being the menthol it was just too much, could never get beyond the super strong Vics taste. I have found the menthol drops are best added to a flavored juice, and just a tiny bit, maybe one drop. Gives a nice throat hit. Beyond that, I think it is just too much. The Cool Rush has a great taste, but does take a lot more than I expected. It is no where near Loranne's or any other flavoring I have tried as far as amount you have to use to get decent flavor. I have pretty much stopped messing with menthol and switched over to the Cool Rush and am getting much better results. Hope this helps.

Yes, I love the Cool Rush, but I feel the cost of it and how much you have to add is not cost effective, especially when mixing from scratch. However, yes, it's very good. I guess my question was because I take 24 mgs menthol juices to start with and cut them to 8 that instead of buying the cool rush, that I could just add one drop or two max of the menthol drops to add something back in. Have you tried that?

I have heard that the cool rush is nice, but we've never tried it so it would be impossible for me to compare.

Our menthol drops are intended to be added to existing juice. It is excellent added to some tobacco flavored juice, but must be used very sparingly or it will knock you over! It can be added to other flavors as well. From what you are describing, it does sound like it would be a more cost effective way to get some menthol into your tobacco flavored juice.

Exactly, they are not a flavoring at all. The primary flavorings in "premium" full flavor cigarettes are cocoa and anise. They add menthol to that to get menthol smokes. They do not remove the cocoa/anise and add peppermint, etc.

The menthol adds aroma, cooling sensations, and "throat hit", but not flavor.

We're working on a tobacco base which should be easy to use and concentrated. It takes alot of time to prefect this because we don't have a 6 digit budget and dozens of focus groups, but we will get there. We have some promising mixes in the lab right now.

In the meantime, I recommend you use Menthol Drops to add the menthol component to pre-flavored liquids or in conjunction with a JuicePak or other custom flavor.

what's the difference between the menthol drops and crystals? would the crystals be smoother? i'm thinking maybe it would?

Exactly the same end result. The drops are easier to deal with. No heating or waiting on the crystals to dissolve. Also, you can easily reproduce a recipe with the drops. A drop is always a drop. With the crystals you would need a microgram scale to exactly reproduce your mix. A "pinch" is hard to duplicate accurately.
