Menthol Flavored e-Liquids impression from a noobie.

First I state devices I own Npro(4081) and Ncig(4071). Of the two I prefer the Ncig or penstyle over the Npro for two reasons. First reason would be cartridge life (lasts longer) and second I can taste the flavoring better. I have been using the devices for about a month.

Now to why I am posting, Menthol taste seems to extremely different from supplier to supplier. I have tried Johnson Creeks Artic Mint 24mg, e-Cig.com's menthol 24mg and NJOYS Reg Menthol 18mg. Of these three by far the best tasting is the njoy Menthol. The Johnson Creek does NOT even in the slightest taste anything like menthol but also taste exactly like "EXTRA's berry splash gum" which for me bad news because I don't like it. The e-Cig.com Menthol not as bad as the Johnson Creek but not near as good as the NJOY version.

I much like almost everyone else here would like to save as much money as I can and not pay the NJoys prices. I have attempted to add mint extracts and or peppermint extracts with PG at different ratios. Total failures in bring the liquids to a flavor I can stand.

I would like some input from other users with similar experiences and which e-liquids they are now using. I am looking for a similar taste as the njoy but better and of course cheaper.

True Vapor's Pure menthol
Pure Smoker's Pure menthol
Alternasmokes Mega Mint
Totally Wicked Menthol

I second the vote for both PureSmoker.com and TrueVapor.com's menthol liquids. They both taste exactly the same to me and have been the closest to menthol so far for me.

Ib=ve been reading up on this as well trying to find out the best menthol before i buy. The general consensus seems to be to buy some menthol crystals on Ebay to add to the juice.

To this day, I haven't added any menthol chips to anything. I cut my mints and menthols also and they are just fine without adding chips.

But they are not. They aren't the same at all. BOTH are good though. They are not identical juices at all. Puresmoker's is all PG and is smoother. TV's is a mixture of PG and VG and it is different. Both very good. TV's vapes better, but that's because there is some VG mixed in it. I would say the consistency of TV's juice is comparable to Totally Wicked's juice. It is much thicker than Puresmokers and that is because there is some VG in there.

I prefer to add mentol crystals to my juice. I can get the taste to suit me. I have tryed severral others and I keep going back to diy mentol. Others are good for a change.

Thank you for the input and you may be correct, I don't know. One can only go by what they read and or buy them for themselves.

Do you think the PS lasts longer than the TV's. Also does one have a different taste or feel than the other...

What I have noticed is some Liquids have an almost cool and or sweet initial hit on the tongue over others. Personally I kinda like the cool and sweet hit, does either of these do this for you?

I also have found that the smoking between dse901 and the 510 results in different flavors. the 510 burns hotter it seems and the vaporstore liquid doesn't taste that good however thru the 901 and its ok still like the smokesafe/ps style menthol in either devices. I purchased 50 ml of thevaporstore mentho since the price was good 27 +shipping so I'm going to learn to like it lol

TW Mentol-Not my favorite but mixes good with others
Janty Polar Ice-did not like at all (sorry)

I also ordered a 50 ml bottle of menthol from myvaporstore. While I find the price to be right and the juice to be decent enough, it's not sweet enough for my tastes and more pepperminty than spearminty, soooooooooo all I do is mix in a little puresmoker menthol or True vapor mentol with it and that stretches it and makes it sweeter. You can now buy just menthol flavoring from liquidsxpress.com and that could help it too. You would be cutting it if you added flavoring to it though. I just bought 11 in it so I just mix it with other 11 juices to make it sweeter.

Well I'm pretty sure.... with everyones help.... LOL I have just managed to piss off may better half yet again. I poked arround the PureSmoker site and found the True Menthol was now available. The only reason I honestly hadn't purchased before now is it was never in stock when I looked. So, I bought 100ml and a USB passthrough. I'll post my impression once I recieve it.

I think the PS menthol vapes up quickly cuz it's real thin. I would add a touch of VG to it to make it vape more and stretch it if you can afford to cut the mgs a bit. What strength did you order? I mean I love it straight, but it is quite thin and I have to use a lot of it.

I bought the 24mg strength and had planned to cut with pure Glycerine and or mix with the Johnson Creek garbage. If I were to throw the Johnson Creek garbage away I know I'd be sleeping on the cough if not outside. Can't seem to get the other half to realize, all in all I am saving money let alone my health... RIGHT??? LOL

Yeah, I hear ya.
Right now, I guess I am not paying too much attention to cost as I am trying small bottles of everything til I find what I want to stock up on.

I have received the PureSmokers True Menthol and first impressions are better than JC and e-cigs but still missing something or need to clean my atomizer. I was looking for alittle more of a sweet taste. All in all thou I beleive I'll purchase this again. I may need to add alittle mint extract or may be even speariment.

The USB passthru Device is Awesome, althou proves I have some poor batteries. This thing kicks out major vaper. I love the passthrou device now I just need the car adapter and power back. I've seen a few post in the forum about them work from there.
