Menthol Suggestion?

I have a friend that is interested in getting started vaping. I have a X2 1300 mah (he wants one like mine) and 2 T3s in his cart. He is a menthol analog smoker and I am not sure what liquid to get him. I was going to order SI menthol ice, but it is only 6mg on nic. He smoked a pack to pack and a half a day so I was going to start him at 18. Any suggestions?

Since menthol ice doesn't have the nic level you want, how about one of he nicquid menthols? I know they're pricier but they specialize in menthols. Or was your question what nic level is best for your friend?

Rawrvapor has an awesome pure menthol that you can add to your favorite juice called angel tears. All ya need is about 2 drops per ml and you're good to go.

Well, all the Niquid descriptions seem to have fruit in them. As a beginner vapor I am thinking a more tobaco menthol to start?

Go ahead and get him a Strong sampler pack(or two), they are available in all mg. If you're feeling generous, you can also get him a gift cert. so he can then order whatever he likes best, as soon as he identifies it.

If I go that route, I will get the Niquid added burst, I use it at times and think its pretty good.

I had thought of that, but I am trying to cut some of the un-needed spending that I went through when starting up. I was hoping to start him off using the T3 and a base menthol liquid that he could branch away from as he dials his taste in?

Yeah I wish I'd had someone to help me when I started but the folks I knew at the time only knew about stick batteries and cartos. If I could go back I'd have gone straight to the X2's and clearos with a couple of volts as backups.

But, BiXLL, picking a liquid that someone else (or even yourself) likes, on the first try, is like winning the lottery.
I see what you're saying...maybe if you post what brand of menthol cigarettes he smokes, another menthol user on here, or even on another forum, might be able to provide some guidance.

I smoked newports and then camel menthol. I used to mix my own menthol tobacco liquid until I found the silverleaf menthol. It's kind of expensive but they usually have a few sales each year where I stock up each time.

I can highly recommend NicQuid (via SI for the holiday sale) Smooththol over either SI Menthol Burst or Ice Menthol. It's higher priced, but I'm finding that generally you get what you pay for in the juice world. The Smooththol is available in 0-24mg nic levels. Start out with 10ml to see if your friend likes it. That'll give them 3 tank fills on the T3 (also VERY highly recommended). I smoked 2 PPD Vantage menthols for almost 40 years and vape nothing but menthol juices. The Smooththol is the best I've found so far. YMMV

I smoked menthol analogs and I found that I really like the SI Mint flavor but YMMV. MY best idea is order a cone and a sample pack of the catromisers and let him decide which one he likes the best.

Not much of a Menthol smoker, but I just got the Sublime Niquid, and it is very menthol-ish. I was surprised that it is more menthol than mint. Might try that. It is actually pretty tasty from a nonmenthol person!!

<--- menthol smoker for 37 years and to be honest, those first few weeks of vaping.. the menthols did not impress me at all. I had several choices too.. with tobacco menthol.. without tobacco and mixed with wintermint - just didn't blow my skirt up until about a month and a half into vaping. Maybe it was a steeping issue - not sure but now I kinda like them.. the menthols and mints.
Just in case your bud has similar taste buds to mine.. grab one or two other flavors.. a sweet.. a fruit.. a bakery - then tell him if he's really good, later he can have BACON juice.

Is it a menthol tobacco blend or just menthol?
