When I was on analogs I was a menthol guy, straight up. When I started vaping I was excited to try out all different types of flavors but I quickly realized that the cool refreshing sensation that menthol gives you on both the inhale and the exhale was still by far the most satisfying to me.

So what liquids are you fellow menthol smokers digging on at the moment?

nnglas: what pg/vg ratio did you get on that extreme ice and did you get it with any extra flavor shots?

I agree with you both about Halo subzero, I got the menthol variety pack a while back and that was by far my favorite.

Right now I'm using Vista Vapors Icy Menthol 24mg with a 10% flavor boost. Very nice different flavor than halo subzero but on par IMO. If you guys haven't tried Vista Vapors yet check them out for sure they have like 7 or 8 different menthol flavors, one of the best selections I've seen for menthol. You can pick your pg/vg blend as well as add flavor boosts (kinda like MBV) which is awesome. They are cheap too, a 32ml is under 8 bucks.

I kind of feel that I'm at an advantage being a menthol vaper. What I mean is that since menthol is such a strong and pronounced in your face flavor it really doesn't have all the subtle notes that fruit or tobacco liquids have, which is usually what makes or breaks a flavor for most people. I think its a little easier to find satisfying flavors because of this.

Vaporgod's Arctic Wolf is all I need.

I really liked Vice City Ice from Hurricane. It's sort of like a nutty, almost chocolate tobacco with a solid menthol kick. Thug Juice was my all day vape for a long time. It's a mentholated watermelon punch from Mount Baker Vapor. Also at MBV, hawk sauce and green ice.

But recently I've just bought a bottle of concentrated menthol. That way can add a drop or so to frost or ice whatever I am vaping. As others have suggested, you can also add koolada which gives you the cooling effect of menthol.

I switch flavors a lot during the day, depending on my mood, but the one I always go to in between (and have to constantly top off in my Nautilus) is MBV Extreme Ice. I love the strong mint, and it's kinda sweet, which I like as well. I was a menthol smoker for 31 years, and found I actually like a really strong mint even more than the basic menthol. Man, this vaping thing is AWESOME!

My wife and were both menthol smokers as well. I have moved on from the flavor for the most part except for the occasional palate cleanser. My wife on the other hand still has it in the rotation, which is good for me that makes it easier to get my palate cleanser lol.

For all those that enjoy the MBV Extreme Ice, you guys should give Dark Cloud Extreme Ice a shot so much better imo. Another good one imo is Vaporfi's Peppermint Party. Not a big fan of Vaporfi in general but my wife makes sure to keep that one in stock.

MBV Extreme Ice is defiantly gonna be my next buy, they have such great prices and I've heard nothing but good things about them. I know they mix all of their stuff to order so you have to give their liquid a pretty long steep time, I've read some places three weeks to month. How long to you guys let your MBV juices steep?

The only flavors I've gotten from MBV have been Extreme Ice, Absinthe, and Hawk Sauce, and I thought all 3 were great and strong right out of the mail. Oh, I did get Cucumber Mint once too....that was yucky, but I haven't tried it again since.

Halo's Menthol X was actually the first liquid I ever bought, coming off of cigarettes I thought a tobacco/menthol blend would be more reminiscent of an analog. After I finished that off, I got Halo's menthol sample pack which included a flavor called HX3, which was a tobacco flavor with a hint of menthol (personally I didn't taste any menthol). I didn't like this flavor at all, even when mixed with other flavors, so at that point I kinda got used to the pure menthol flavors. I do want to try Menthol X again now that I'm a full time vaper (I was still in that transition phase with cigs when I first had it) just to see if it's still a satisfying flavor to me.

The Extreme Ice is used right out of the mailbox. It's my ADV and I can't seem to let it just sit there for any length of time. LOL Eventually I'll get far enough ahead with my stock to see if I notice a difference. I've only been ordering from them for a couple of weeks now, but the other flavors from the first order do seem to be getting better. The bottle labels are dated as well, so it's easy to keep track of what's what in the rotation.
