Menthol vs mint? Vendors with can't miss mint/menthol juices?

Is menthol more than "just" mint? Are all menthols (base) the same? If it's a "super" mint, does it always lean towards a certain type of mint (peppermint, spearmint, etc)?

What else should I know about mint and menthol? Are there vendors who shine with mint and/or menthol?

For what it's worth, I'm in love with the bright mint exhale in Tasty Vapor's Mojito... I'm looking for more clean, interesting mints that aren't toothpaste-y.

I've only tried a mint type juice from 1 vendor and it to me was a dead on altoids flavor. It was Hatchlings Breath from PBDragon.

As far as menthol goes I still haven't really found one I enjoy much.

For a vendor that shine on mint flavor, you must try Mt Baker Vapor.
The Baker Winter Blast serie are based on the Extreme Ice. Fresh and not too sweet.

I just really have not been able to get into any of the flavored menthols....I smoked menthols for many, many years...true and faithful. My only vape is Mr. eliquid full menthol and a few drops of either regular menthol or arctic wolf menthol from Vapor God. That combo truly hits the spot for me and has for a while. I did try a dyi from a good soul here on ECF and it was pretty darned good also! I am saving the recipe for if I dyi.

Halo Menthol Ice, Truepure and Malibu are the clean menthol varieties I prefer, with Menthol Ice being my favorite. Bluemist Hypermint is worth a try and is my wife's favorite.

Halo's mystic is a no-tobacco menthol...its nothing like a newport or kools....so I would consider it more of a "mint". A menthol to me is mint + tobacco. Mints are your Peppermint, Spearmint, Wintergreen. IMO peppermint gives you the best tingle in your mouth and throat and is my preferred "mint". I found a really good peppermint made by my local brick and mortar store but I am still searching samples from various companies...you gotta search around to find the holy grail.

After a Newport and Kool smoker for over 20 years, I never found a menthol that was satisfactory. They either tasted like cough drops or just too 'minty'. I never thought I would like fruity/sweet flavors, but I do. I will add a drop or two of one of the menthol I have from time to time.

The best menthol/mint I have tried is mt baker vapor extreme ice. An extremely good vape.

I've been a menthol smoker for 30+ years. I've been using a menthol liquid from a local vendor for 3 months. It's a little sweet. Wish I could find some that tasted more like a real menthol cigarette.
Mixed some of my Husband's tabacco flavor with my menthol but I can still taste the sweetness.

Dunno if this is the kind of answer you're looking for, but....
I just ordered some LORAN creme de menthe and some chocolate hazelnut.
I put 2 drops choco hazlenut and 1 drop of the creme de menthe in 10 ml of 50/50 18mg niquid and it tastes just like mint chocolate chip ice cream.
Yum!! Not super sweet, but full flavored!

i personaly have not found the great menthol either....but vaporgod artic wolf is great....very very stong...I mean very it will take your breath away!....If i have a head cold it kicks it,i add a few trops to anything that i think taste like poo and bam its vapeable...It also helps get the weird after tastes some eliquids have.....id say get a bottle of that and add some to anything..

warning you its strong lol....I took it to work and was like try this 99% of them said way to strong and they wanted to punch me in the face after they tried it lol,i can vape it stright....but perfer to mix it with things, my fav mix is....juicyvapor ecto plasm with artic wolf....about 75% plasm in a tank 25% wolf....good stuff,i was a 2 pack a day kool blue smoker for 9 years

My local smoke shop gives out little baggies of menthol crystals and those go into any juice I don't like so at least I don't waste the liquid. I'll have to try this arctic wolf out since the crystals are quite annoying. Thanks for the tip!

fancee juice has a good mojito! they got pretty darn good juices! i just found them a few weeks ago....I can already tell ill be dumping a lil of my juice funds into this web site....Im trying to stop being a hobbiest....for a month i had juice and mods comeing in every day,my gf was like seriously why does anyone need 50 kinds of juice and 5 mods......i played the well i got them for you too card! lol

For a menthol with a hint of cigarette tobacco, I'm partial to Dekang's Triple Menthol. Yeah, I know: Chinese. But some Chinese flavors are decent or more than decent.

I'm a big fan of the Rawr Vapor flavors, and their menthol is very smooth. Really refreshing. I have their "Angel Tears", which is straight menthol that I can add to any juice. Rawr has some great fruit juices that go well with their menthol.

Wikipedia says menthol is made from mint. So think of it as a supercharged substance made from mint oils.
