This could definitely be interesting. I was never a menthol smoker, but would be interested to see Clark's take on a minty NET.
Will there ever be a menthol tobacco similar to a camel menthol?
I won't rule anything out... as a general rule my feeling about menthol in the marketplace is that it's done very heavy-handedly... too much menthol, so much that I can't taste anything BUT menthol.
I've experimented with it... I did Creme Brulee: Winter Edition about a year ago... it was yummy. That was actual Menthol.
Also did Arctic Storm Cool Mint - but that was more mint than menthol - it did have some menthol in it, but like all my menthol vapes, it was subtle.
Be Mine had a hint of Koolada in it - similar to menthol, cool, but no "menthol taste"
I haven't really tried a menthol tobacco yet... I guess I wouldn't rule it out, but it's probably not in the cards in the short term (too many other irons in the fire - I'm a perfectionist when it comes to R&D so it could take months of testing, and an extended beta, especially for an undertaking like a well-balanced menthol tobacco).
As far as trying to clone a Camel cigarette, if there was an eLiquid equivalent I'd be bloody rich... unfortunately (or fortunately) there's no way to mimic the carcinogens that provide analog tobacco flavor in eLiquid. I fear trying to mimic real tobacco taste is a lost cause - the best we can do is Naturally Extracted Tobacco, which is more like "what a fresh pack of cigarettes would taste like if you crushed a cigarette and stuffed it in your mouth" as opposed to smoking a nail.

I was a menthol tobacco smoker. I'd offer to beta test, but I'm not sure I remember what they tasted like. Probably nasty.
The menthol part is rather refreshing, it's the tobacco part that's yucky.

Yes, definitely. I started vaping with menthol, that and cinnamon only for more than a year, and Halo's Sub Zero and MEL's Napalm are still two of my top tier vapes. Then I met Nicoticket and fell down the rabbit hole.
Sign me up to be a guinea pig, too. Menthol vapes are my go-to when my sinuses start acting up a bit. My favorite menthol was just discontinued and while I've got a good replacement, I wouldn't be at all surprised if I liked a NT menthol better.
You could always order some liquid menthol and add to your NT flavors. I have some menthol from Nature's Flavors, ordered from ecigexpress.

But, if you try it, go easy on the menthol at first, a little goes a loooong way. You can always add more until you get what you like.
And I just filled up with The Virus for the first tank today and now I am trying to imagine it with a little menthol.....
