Good day, all.

Ive got a friend who is about to start vaping and was/is a menthol smoker. I let her try my Bobas and she loved it but would like it mentholated. My question is how many menthol drops would you guys suggest adding to a 6ml bottle of Boba's to give it a mentholish flavor without overpowering the flavor of Boba?

Thanks!

To be honest I would say 0.

There are some flavors that mentholate better than others. The more complex the flavor and taste, the less likely it is to mentholate well in my experience. If you are going to try, then I suggest 1 drop and let it steep for 3 or 4 days before trying any more.

In my favorite mentholated tobacco vape (comes as just a tobacco) I use 3 drops per 10ml of juice and then it needs to steep for at least a week, but it is a basic tobacco rather than a nice complex blend. ;)

P.S. I was a menthol smoker for many years before I began vaping... I would warn her that finding a good replacement for the menthol part is going to be very very hard... even harder than finding an analog replacement vape!

One drop mixed well should do the trick. If your friend thinks it is light on menthol then add one more drop and test, repeat until satisfied. Though if I had to guess as a 21 year Newport 100 smoker, I would say 1 to 2 drops will be fine. Letting the juice "breathe" (let it sit with the top open) after mixing in the menthol helps, but unlike Allazar, I've never had a need for it to steep, just needed it to settle after mixing.
