Just wanted to chime in as well...I have several and they all have their pros and cons but the main advantage is battery life and inexpensive, readily available batteries. I have been vaping for some time and have avoided most of the name brands since the mods became available but last month i ordered an EGO to see how it worked. I was a little worried because i read in some of the threads that batteries would not be sold seperately but that has since been put to rest. I do have to say that i don't get near the battery life that others seem to, but i am a heavy vaper. I am averaging about 300 5-sec draws which for me comes to about 4-5 hours when in the office. This is perfectly acceptable but i would like to eventuallly see a passthru for it to allow me to save battery while in the office. I agree with the other posts that my biggest like about the EGO is the size. I never really found that vaping the mods at higher voltage produced any major advantages and that 3.7 produced plenty of vapor and TH when the right juice was used. I travel frequently and i can now carry a weeks worth of supplies in a small pouch. Good job to Janty, but i'd like to see multi-packs of the batteries similiar to the way TW is providing them...wouldn't want to have to order Janty design from them instead.....

I agree....Mik and Ethan SUCK, but waiting for the eGo does ROCK! Wait, I think that came out wrong backwards...

Seriously though folks, I can assure you that we want to get these units out to you as badly as you want to receive them. As Bella said, it is MOST DEFINITELY worth the wait.

HMMMMMM - we haven't heard anything back from Janty as to the status of the shipment from China (the last post I can find was from Mik yesterday at about noon) and when I go to your website it still says Feb 2 for a likely ship date (today is the third). Can you not up-date your site to show some indication of what is/may be happening.
Yes, I am willing to be patient ---- but being kept in the dark is not acceptable.

Thanks Mik, I hadn't visited the site in a while. I'll stock up when they come in stock. On the passthru i mentioned, i know i can use a standard 510 passthru but would love to have one in the ego format...i keep hoping the suppliers will come up with one that is more of a dual purpose device that fits between the attomizer and regular battery and provides power to the atty while trickle charging the battery as well......with only 5v and 500mA available from usb there should still be some power available to run a regular atty and send some to the battery.....just wishful thinking. Thanks again.

The cartridges can not burn because they do not come in contact with the atty bridge.
The cartridges have a poly fill in them with either prefilled or you fill with your own juice. The polly fill wicks the juice to the atty and the atty vaporizes the juice. If you are useing cartomizers rite now you might look into some blue foam cart mods for the 510 carts that come with the eGo. Hope that helps.

May I ask why use a blue foam mod instead of the standard polyfill?

The cartridges can melt if one doesn't allign the 510 rectangle cart end with the atomizer wick.

I just checked on their European site and it says they have 80 eGo's in stock ----- why wouldn't they ship some of their own stock to the U.S. to satisfy customers who have been waiting??
Really starting to wonder about this company. My gut tells me that we will have to wait until next week when Ethan gets back and then ?????

It is against board regulations to post the content of private messages and emails i believe, please do not do this, for whatever reason.

And as for your "This is how to lose customers 101", i dont agree. You are getting a refund, right? Good luck getting that from another dealer - and finding one with a 6 month warranty they will actually honor.

I do see why you are angry about how things have happened, but thats not "how we do it", nor does it describe how our products in generally are - but its your choice, and i hope you find what youre searching for elsewhere.

What do you mean it's not how you do it ? ITS HOW YOU DID IT ! You are liars and the log of forum posts show that I am not the only one that this has happened to. I did not know I was breaking any rules and I apologize. Why don't you post a phone number on your site ? I think it is because you do not care to have irate customers who were stupid enough to believe you calling at all hours .You stated that my item would be shipped on Feb 2cnd and it was not. So you LIED to me ! Lying is one of the best ways to lose customers as far as I know. I wanted a PV not a bunch of hassle taking up my time to get my money back. If you had done what you said you were going to or at the least made an effort to communicate I would not be asking for a refund. I WILL WARN EVERYONE I CAN AGAINST YOUR UNETHICAL PRACTICES .

Okay it seems as if you have gone off on your own time now.

I will say a few things before contacting a moderator though:

1) We dont have a phone number on the website, because we are keeping staff down to what we need, in order to keep prices at what our customers want to pay. If we had to have a phoneline, that would occupy 2 people fulltime, only for answering. We have tried this and gone away from it again. There is alot of webshops working like that.

2) You are getting a refund, seriously, you need to calm down. If you werent getting that, or if we ignored you, i could understand your anger - but we are adressing this now - and even in a mild and gentle manner ( look at Ethan/Jeffs answers to you )

3) You say you wanted a PV not a bunch of hassle: Good luck finding another company - last time i looked we are probably one of the best when it comes to both products and customer service: The fact that this apparently has failed in your case, i apologize, but it doesnt change the fact that we have alot of happy customers. And - 99% of angry customers complain - on forums, where as you only see 5% of happy customers are taking the time to praise. That is a well documented fact, so no, you cant really tell anything by the showing anyone the logs of this forum. Wait, thats wrong, you can tell one thing; We answer. We do not delete, remove, hide posts - as "certain" other companies do. I could tell you who those companies are, but i wont: we dont operate that way.

4) And now you are threatening us? Why thats another rule on this board that you have violated, bravo.

5) False advertising? We say that if you are unhappy, you get a refund, you got a refund, cause you were infact unhappy. Have fun with your lawyer, and bring some earplugs so his highpitched laughter wont hurt yours.

- Oh and dont bother replying me on this - i wont answer you anymore seeing as you are being extremely rude to me - and i only wanted to inform you about the general rules of the board.

So the only reason i wrote this is so other people have a chance to judge what we are about, - i think its unfair for them to only see your side only.
