Hey guys,

So I walked into my local batteries plus and was trying a feeble attempt at getting some of the JS batteries. (Stupid I know)

All of the sales people looked at the battery and had no idea what kind of battery it was. Since they had no idea, they pulled out their vlotage meter and checked two of my batts.... They were reading at 4.11V! They seemed pretty shocked and couldnt figure out why they were reading this way. They even thought their vlotage meter was broke so they tried a different one.

Maybe IM just a bit naive when it comes to this sort of thing, but how does a battery rated at 3.7V read 4.11?

Safe travels,

All right! I've been lurking and learning for awhile now, debating on taking the leap to vaping. Just when I decided to take the plunge they ran out of stock. Got my order in and can't wait to try it!

You won't be disappointed. I Smoked for 40 years. Quit Smoking April 2009. Smoked 2 packs of Kool per day. Quit with the Janty Stick. Got the eGo a month or more ago. I don't need anything else. I will never smoke again thanks to the Janty Company.

I have a Couple of Pretty shiny PVs . . . I could give them away but never my eGo. .

Thanks, HokieSmokie! After a lot of research, aided by all the great info here, I'm eager to finally break away from the analogs. Been smoking 33 years myself from 2 to 3 packs a day... starting with sneaking my dad's Pell Mells. I wanted to make sure I found a pv that was heavy duty. Think the eGo will deliver just what I need!

Hi guys and girls,

I know it's been a while since I've posted on ECF but I had to choose between gossiping or developing. I do check on you regularly though ;-)

I see I made the good choice and you all seem to like the eGo. We sold around 60 sets today in the USA and orders keep coming in!!! That's good news for us and for you ;-)

Thanks to your purchases we can keep investing in new ideas. Thank you all for your loyalty, your ideas and feedback. Stay tuned for the next wave of innovative models and products to be launched in a few months time!

Janty is here to stay and pave the way together with you!

talk soon :)

@TW The Ego is one hell of a PV! The rest you will see for yourself!

On a side note, Im sooooo happy that I was able to get one of those battery 5 packs!!! Now I have to hope that the 5 packs of TAWA Attys doesnt get listed while Im in the air... That would suck sooooooo bad!

Eh screw it, MY EGO IS COMING!!!

Off to the airport!

Safe Travels,

Okay,

So now where do we get alternative attys (510's) for the EGo while we wait for them to come back in stock?

I have 3 attys from Janty. The one I'm using is about a week old and is working fine. The other two are less than a month old and are dead...well one's dead..the other is operating at about 20%.

I just know that the atty I'm using will die within the next week or so (based on the track record), so I need to know where I can buy alternate attys since Janty is out of stock. It would be nice if they were relatively inexpensive since atty's only last 2 weeks or so!!

Thanks,

TRaymond

I have 50 Attys as back up and always will, Janty is a nice product and im sure this guy Mik cares about the company, look at all the time he puts in on development for ya all, he will take care of his customers one way or another and imho everyone who is a vaper should not only have back up Atty's but a back up device with extra Attys fot that device and if you dont then its your own fault not miks

Done lecturing? Thank you.

In my short but dedicated vaping experience, I am coming to realize that all e-cig components are a crap shoot. So yes, have plenty of backups. I haven't experienced a Janty product yet (eGo should arrive in three more days), but I don't sense that any other company is as dedicated to improving e-cigs.

I appreciate Mik too, even though he seems to have been promoted to Head Designer, and is now busy designing heads.

I havent had any Janty yet either and will have my ego tomorrow hopefully in the mail, but have been following Mik and this product and post and reviews for quite some time now and decided to go with it. I wasnt lecturing one bit just giving my honest opinion on Janty, Mik, and my vaping experiance over the last 9 months. I wish you nothing but good things with your vaping products and Im sure we will enjoy our Janty Ego very much weather the Attys come in soon or not, although I have 10 so I wont run out..!!!!

Hey Mwa, no offense taken. Really. I'm waiting for the attys too. I'm going with the throwaways, and lots of them because I don't want to hassle with shipping broken things back, even a collection of them. Batteries are expensive enough that it's worth the hassle though. Somebody in another thread recommended getting an extra atty cover so you could have two complete units.

If the eGo works out as well as I plan, I'll order a kit with auto batteries in a few weeks and really have backups. My first e-cig was a disposable 510 from MadVapes, which had auto batteries. They worked fine for me as long as they were charged.
