That's what I get for procrastinating on ordering when Janty had them in stock. I needed to read everything I could find before deciding since I've already wasted so much money finding a satisfying vape. I like the 510 and have a ton of 510 stuff, but I hate the nasty taste of the Joye attys I've purchased from other suppliers. I'm convinced there are different manufacturers of the Joye attys and some are pure crap tasting! I've never read this complaint about the ones Janty sells so maybe there's hope for me with the eGo?

Now my dilemma is whether to wait for more kits or piece an order together and pay more than I would for a kit. They have them in stock at TW but I prefer Janty as an ongoing supplier ... and Mik is, well ... :hubba: uhhhh, sexy! Oh yeah!!

Any feedback is appreciated. :)

Allie

Hi Allie,
The Joye atty's ARE from Joye, its just the awful tasting primer liquid the put into the, that make the atty's taste that way. There are only 2 co.'s that make those atty's and of course one is Joye, the other is SLB and those have the Washer inside. The way to get rid of that bad taste is to blow it out of the atty's and reprime them.
Although Joye is now using a sweeter flavor to prime their atty's and the ones that are tasting bad are just older stock. All you need to do is blow from the cart side into a napkin (or 2) or paper towel. I do this all the time.
The atty's from Janty have a better flavor in tem and those I just puff onabout 5 times (small puffs) to get rid of the primer. Then put in 2 drops of straight VG and put on my cart with what ever I want to vape.
Hope this helps in a good way!!

Sorry, Mik.
Ethan and I decided (actually I have) that going back and forth through the USPS would be costly (for both) and I just can't take that with the fixed income I am on.
Otherwise I wouldn't care about the $.
I will wait for the Baby J and tesla filter to come out.
Need to save every pennie I can.:(
But also the LED being small I can't even put a paper clip into it.

I'm on the verge of ordering a Janty eGo and am now concerned about their warranty. How difficult would it be to exchange a damaged battery for one that works if I live in Ohio, Mik?

All the best,
Oso

But, mail ethan@jantyusa.com and ask him, and i am sure he will answer you the second he has time!

Hi Oso,
Like Mik said.. Shoot Ethan.. I mean shoot him an email (sorry Ethan, LOL) and not to worry about the warrenty.
Ethan knows about my situation being disabled and on a fixed income and he didn't want me to spend a lot of $ sending parts back and forth. Now thats CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Ethan gets to know everyone (almost) that order's from JantyUSA and wants us to be a HAPPY customer. So he was just looking out for my exspense with shipping.
I will NEVER leave Janty for anything... I AM A CUSTOMER 4 LIFE!!
TY Ethan and Jeff and specially you Mik with all you guys do and care about us, your Customers!!

Hi Stubear52, I appreciate that you are trying to help but I have to disagree with you. I have over 500 posts and many of those are dealing with the burnt atty taste myself and others have with Joye attys. This is not the removable primer taste, it's a problem with either the nickle that is being used or the primer permanently embedding in the nickle. They are manufactured differently than Janty's attys and perhaps in different manufacturing facilities or to different standards.

This isn't really the forum to go into more detail (there are several other threads about this), but it's a major problem that isn't being addressed by vendors or the manufacturer. As I said, Janty's Joye attys DO NOT have this problem and neither do SLB attys. :)

Right on guys. Thanks for the quick response! I just placed my order: One Janty eGo - automatic batts... I've decided to take my chances :)

I carry my ecig in my pocket the majority of the time and wouldn't want the button to be pushed accidentally. I too actually dig the idea of there being no LED lightning up.

I wanted to ask... Were I to attempt to direct drip with the auto batt, what's the worst that could happen? I'm assuming something like this wouldn't be covered under any warranty seeing as how the eGo's "designed" to use the 510. Any thoughts?

Great sight... Great thread... Thanks again for responding so quickly!

Hi Oso,
The worst that could happen is over filling the atty and liquid getting into the battery. There is a solution and that would be to let the battery sit for 24 to 48 hrs to get the juice out of it. At times this might / might not work. Depending how thin or thick the liquid. You would need to put the battery in a vertical posistion (the atty side down on a paper napkin / towel) this way gravity should help. I had juice go into a 510 auto batt and did this, very little came out. I also took very hard draws on it without an atty and even got morejuice out. Eventually it died and I took it apart (DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS WITH AN EGO!!) and seen more liquid inside which really amazed me at how much there was.
Be careful when dripping with an Auto batt.:)

hey stu, i think you did just get a bad battery. Both of my autos arrived today and they are awesome!! no hard draw, no cussing and no headache. I don't care about the light i'm more worried about the juice leaking into them. I took your suggestion and ordered some cartomizers. I would not hesitate to order more autos.

Thats GREAT julep!! :)
I'm glad the Auto's are working and for me, I just need to go the best way for now.
Shhh, don't let Mik know, but I will get another Auto but in the silver color when ever they come out.
Another note, as for what Mik had said and Ethan, I believe my Auto batt was a bad one too.
But just in case it happened again, I just couldn't see spending $ going back and forth with the mailing of bad batts. So I took the cheaper way out, I guess you could say.. I know they would work, and still, to me anyways, the LED should be a bit brighter or that hole a bit bigger to be able to see it as I had to strain my eyes to even notice it (in the darkness of night) and it didn't sit well with me. Like Jimi Mack said, what if the batt stayed on then you smelled something burning and at this time you probably couldn't get the cone and atty off and would burn cause it got too hot. Thats y I would want the brighter LED or bigger hole to see it.
Good luck and leave a review here and on our forum so everyone knows how the Auto batt is, okay?

More than a week ago I decided to buy my second e-cig from Janty (Europe).
After confirming shopping cart and chose payment method I received a letter with such promises as "We ship your items the day after receiving your payment during business days/hours" (bold text). It also has the instructions on how to do payment order with paypal and red dotice "If you fail to pay this invoice within 24 hours this order will be considered cancelled." and I had to quickly get, so immediately payed through Paypal. After payment Paypal as always informed me about successful payment. From Janty store I have received nothing. I spent a lot of time looking how can contact them and try every possible way. Try to open support ticket on support system - system doesn't work at all;

I am totally disappointed and successfully switched to another supplier.

Please give me my money back.
