Whoa, that's weird. I sent another e-mail to info@jantyusa, but Gmail didn't show me the previous e-mail I sent (they're usually tabbed in the same e-mail window) so I got suspicious and went to my 'Sent' folder, and for some reason I had sent the question to Ludo for some reason? Even though I know he's not a person to ask this question to. I wonder why it sent to him...I e-mailed Ethan last week but I don't want to bother one guy so I didn't e-mail him again so he doesn't get annoyed with swamped e-mails from other people as well.

At present time, the Baby J is still being worked on, but is not the top priority - and as for your question, I cant answer that as many things can change yet. I hope that helps you a bit

There was no guessing. I spoke the truth. I have spent 7 months following the 'development' of this product. It may or may not be produced. For now, it is not produced. It is still in development. How is this 'nothing about the truth'?. I don't think you know enough truth, especially about me.
You are guessing currently. Again. First you guess you are older than me - you could venture this guess as you have seen me on video, but it is still a guess. Secondly you guess that I have not done this before, and that you are better at this than me - still a guess. Third, you guess that you know whats going on here - and you dont.
I have 3 versions of the Baby J lying here next to me. One of which you have seen. This means its a product, and not a fantasy. The third version of this, for all you know, could be finished - but we could have our reasons not to launch it just yet: Why? Part of our plan. Again, something you know nothing about.
Lastly you say that i know nothing of the truth, especially about you? I dont need to know anything about you. This is a Janty forum; and the way you told one of _our_ customers, about one of _our_ products, we did not care for - so i warned you, and told you why. Thats within my rights as a moderator on this forum.

How is this any different than what I stated? It is real when we can buy it. Until then it is in development. It may never be produced. That is not your decision alone. I hope that Janty produces an excellent product eventually.
I dont see how you can claim to be a master production planner, that has worked on multi million dollar projects, and still fail to see that a product is real from when it is being planned. Also, I have a hard time seeing how you know if something is my decision or not; You dont know this company - you dont know my role, but it certainly does not stop you from, once again, trying to tell everyone else that your version of the truth is the correct one.
You have no idea if i have the "power" to say yes or no, thereby making a product happen or die. Infact you know nothing about Janty, except for what I, and others have told you. So for that reason, and that reason alone; Stop telling our customers things about us, or our products, as if you know the truth - especially when its about something you do not know anything about.
If you do not follow this request, I will have to give you a second warning - and after that comes a ban. If you need to ask why, then once again let me remind you that this is a Janty forum - and we - Janty - disapprove that you are telling our customers stuff that seems true in your eyes, as if it is the truth.
I hope you understand this - and I certainly hope you understand my explanation. If not, feel free to private message me. But this public discussion about the matter is done from my part in this thread.

That is before he edited it. He said the above to someone relatively new to our forum, asking about something. There is no way that the new person can think anything other than "Oh the Baby J is not a product that exists now, or has ever existed". Basically it makes Janty sound as if we are liars - or as if we "just say stuff".
I have to respond to that, seeing as it IS a real product. If you choose to determine whether something is real or not, by you having it in your hand is up to you. We determine a product as being very much real from the second we begin putting out money to produce prototypes, and begin testing.
I think you are all forgetting that we are not just sitting idle here - we are working hard, everyday, on both new, and old products - trying to make them work, trying to make them better - and in the process we spend money to research and develop, to make more prototypes, so we have the best possible chance of knowing how these items will be once they end up in _your_ hands.
And that process takes time - in the time that passes, sometimes new things come up - like for instance the Janty Pipe, which as of now has higher priority than the Baby J. So even if we change our focus to that, it does not mean that the Baby J is forgotten or lost - and it certainly does not mean that it is not a real product.
The reason i reacted, was that sanford wrote it in a way so the newcomer to the forum, had no chance, whatsoever, to figure out if it was sanfords own opinion, or the actual truth.
After he edited it, it appears more to be a more flexible statement.. but thats not why or how this argument started.
Now if you will excuse me, I would like to get back to my weekend... I just thought this might clarify it fully, so we can move past this.
I think I understand where he's coming from. He's a head designer and for him it is a very real item. He has 3 real versions, that's real enough. However, for customers or potential customers, Janty is still working/deciding on it. If there are 3 proofs of design/function it must be getting close to being produced and some day we may see it for sale. It is really in the shuffling priorities of bringing quality products to market. It would be more real to me, as a consumer, if I could hold one in my hands after I buy one. You can assume, that I want one as a vaporizer option. It was my mistake (assuming) in thinking, as a consumer, that products are considered to be items in production that we can buy now. I can be flexible in considering a real product to be a functional design or proof of concept with the manufacturer.
The Janty pipe seems (as far as I can tell) as if it will become a product option to buy first, before the 'Baby J' or 'Tesla' projects become product options for us to buy.

I am glad you understand my position, but I do hope you also understand that the reason I react the way I do, is that these boards serve equally to help existing customers, as well as introducing ourselves to new customers, and when someone asks about something Janty, then I definately think its great when other people answer; but in your case, you have a signature line thanking everyone except Janty, and the first post I personally see you in, is one where you basically step on Janty's toes, then I do think .... in a certain way. Lets just say we have had quite a few people in here trying to do ....stuff - so we have to be on our toes, in that regard.
So ofcourse I react, and maybe, overreacted - regardless I still stand by what I said, and I still think your original post was being delivered to someone new, in a way that could only lead to misunderstanding, or irritation - from a Janty point of view.
