i use that little cord on everthing, SD's, ego/nado, iphone, ipod, sony reader, i got a couple of usb 4gig memsticks and one package had 4 extras in it, yeah for me!. the ones i have, have a metal bit instead of plastic, and smaller, but that cord is strong! i was afraid for awhile, on a 400$ e-book (darn walmart 189$), it took me some time to accept it. now its the only thing i use on the pv's i have.
and in my pocket, i put a little spring clip so i dont have to reach to the bottom of the pocket...yes, i am lazy. hehehe
on the ego/nado i knotted it to have loop the size of cone threads and have assurence of cone body holding the cord in place.

I am going to get a eGo. I do like automatic batteries over manual batteries. I just don't want to get something that is kinda new only to find out it doesn't work well. A couple of questions.

What was it that you didn't like about the auto's?

Does the auto battery have an LED on it?

I saw a video and the guy said that the draw on the auto's was very hard and gave him a headache. Did you find the draw to be hard?

Any other info on auto batteries would be great.

Thanks

I haven't been a fan of auto batteries for a very long time. In addition to the likelihood of juice getting into the battery and killing it, the manual batteries allow for a longer draw and that has really made a difference with the eGo. It just seems to me that the eGo manual and cone almost force the vape to me. So much more satisfying overall.
And like I said, who wants to kill a perfectly good $20-$25 eGo battery with juice? Not I.
Oh sorry, no, there is no light anywhere on the autos.

I'm trying to get a handle on color choices for the Janty eGo / TW Tornado - specifically:

  • Silver
  • Stainless steel
  • Platinum
  • Titanium
I've got titanium right now, which I've seen described as a champagne color. I like it but I'd like to have a choice of vendors so I've been looking around for alternatives. My questions:

Is titanium the same as platinum or is it different from any of these others?

Are any of the other three the same color or do they all have different looks?

At this point I'd be willing to give up on titanium but I wanted to move to a finish (other than black or white) that was going to be easy to find.

Then go with stainless.

Depending on who is doing titanium and platinum, there is a difference. Black, white and stainless are consistent. What I like about stainless, the paint doesn't scratch, becasue there is no paint. the others are paint or lacquer. This is in general and not related to the eGo perse.

The more I get thinking about, no LED might be a big plus. I have some 510 batteries with Purple LED's and they attract people at night like moths to a porch light. They seem to seek me out and have all kinds of questions about e-Cig's when I tell them what it is. Becomes a bother sometimes.

I like the concept of having a no LED battery for stealth vaping.

One last question. Is there any difference between a Janty eGo and a Joye eGo?

cignot told me they will be getting some Joye eGo auto batteries in a couple of weeks. I would like to get them from cignot because that's where I got my 510. I like their prices and service.
