I can't see the results (my problem, my work computer is blocking some graphics), but good info. Any chance you could run this over some period of time (like a couple of weeks) to see how much the characteristics change per recharge cycle? Maybe that is the key performance indicator we should be using to determine where to spend our money on batteries?

Hi folks... Due to customs difficulties in this day and age, sometimes we are having to send stick sets out without the boxes. The boxes are limited in quantity b/c it is harder to import the sets with the boxes included b/c it shows "Janty" and customs will confiscate them.

We have gotten a good supply of boxes lately and most recent orders should be coming in the standard Janty packaging. If it does not your Jantystick will come with all of the original material minus the box. If anyone is that upset about the box not being included I'm sure we can make arrangements to get a box to you. There have been about 250 sets sent out without a box and we've received one complaint to this day and I do apologize to that person.

We don't want to holdup anyone's order over a cosmetic box that has nothing to do with how the unit will perform so we've been shipping them as fast as possible with or w/o the box. I hope that will help to clarify any confusion.

As always, if you have any questions feel free to contact me at info@jantyusa.com

Hi Jeff, it's not the box for me as much as the carrying pouch that I want! I did notify the company when I ordered my next shipment, let's see if it comes.

I’m new to E-cigs and been reading this forum for a few months trying to decide what e-cig to get. I finally got my first one about a week ago and decided to go with the Janty Stick V2 from jantyusa.com. I also ordered with it an extra Janty Classic Atomizer, Cola Liquid, and empty refill carts.

I just have a few questions about it. Any help would be appreciated.

At first both atomizers were giving a really bad burnt taste even with a new cart or a filled up cart. I wrote Janty they replyed and said there was not enough liquid getting into the atomizer and suggested a few drops of liquid into the atomizer, and waiting 30-45 seconds between drags.

Where do I drip it in at? Do I pull the cart out and put it in that hole or drip it into the battery side hole? I’ve been putting it in the cart side and it made it better but some drags burnt some are not. What am I doing wrong???

I have tried blowing out my atomizers from the battery side like some of the posts say and then put in a few drips and fresh cart and first drag burnt. What am I doing wrong???

Next question is when do I push the manual switch? Do I hit it as a draw, before draw, or after draw??? Tried all 3 and get burnt taste all 3 ways.

I don’t think I have a bad atomizer because sometimes it will work great for hours and no burnt taste then it gets time to refill and I try to refill it the same way and I get burnt taste for the rest of the day after refill and fresh cart.

Please help. I love this thing I went from 15 cigs a day to 2 or 3 a day. If this thing would taste good all the time I could quit analogs all together.

ThankYou

I'm not entirely sure where the burnt taste is coming from either. Possibly just the new atomizer?

I'd suggest to clean the atomizer:
Blow out the atomizer (from both ends), soak it in some alcohol for a couple of hours. then run it under some hot water and blow it out once more, then let it dry battery side up on a paper towel overnight.

In the morning when you get up, put a freshly topped off cart into the atomizer and try it out.

I usually give a 2-3 second primer puff, release the button, then take a max drag (red line it!).

Make sure when you top off your cart that the top of the filling looks moist. I always top of to the max (just before it seems too saturated... You'll know because the liquid doesn't soak in and pools on top) If you get to that point, just take a q-tip or something to draw out that little bit from the top. It should look nice and saturated but not too much. Once I do that, I can usually get my filler pretty dry after a couple of hours.

I haven't had to drip on my atomizer yet, and have tried a couple different ones so far.

Formula, we all were new to ecigs once upon a time, so dont worry about asking questions.

Firstly I would suggest you joined the Janty Club, just click the link on my signature, as most things and questions re Janty products are covered there.

Right when using an 801 atomiser, its common to drip, plus it helps the lifetime of the atomiser, providing you do not over do it.

So, take out your atomiser, and now remove the cart. Now you can clean the atomiser. Get a tissue or better still a Q tip, and gently clean around the coil inside the atomiser itself. Now take a tissue and twist it gently inside the atomiser to get any fluid on the inner wall, and then clean the outside.

Lastly take the Q tip and clean the connection on the underside.

Now with the underside on top, and a tissue under the open side of the atomiser, blow through the connector. This should remove any juice within the atomiser.

Now clean up the body of the JS, by taking your tissue and screw it gently into the atomiser shaft, this should remove any fluid or condensation within the shaft.

Ok, you are set to go now...

Replace that atomiser, making sure the connection is fairly tight.

Now take your e-juice, and drop two drops directly onto the coil. I know you cannot, unless you are using a syringe or long dropper be totally accurate, but do it as best you can.

Make sure your cart is full and replace it in the atomiser.

Now hold the JS to your ear... yes I said, ear... press the switch and listen for a hissing sound.. if you hear this all is working as it should.

Now pressing the switch, inhale... release switch when you have almost reached the draw you want... continue to inhale for a second or two... and that should be it... perfection...

Hope that works ok for you.

OK... I admit it... I'm one of the "bad guys" here. I got a confirmed order and did not go to Pay-Pal to pay for it. HOWEVER... on my order, I asked for someone to contact me. I am one of the owners of the Limited Edition Janty Stick that was offered a $25 discount on my next order. I would like to use that discount now, but there is no mention of how to go about doing that here in the forum, or on the Janty site. Should I just deduct the $25 and give you my order # from the Limited Edition? Hmmmmm... inquiring minds wanna know! The sooner I find out what you want me to do, the sooner I'll be hitting the "send money" key at Pay-Pal!!!

Chris
Chris, when something came up that lowered what I was to pay for an order I emailed Ethan, and he quickly replied to go ahead and make the adjustment. I took the adjustment into account on my payment and the order went through without a hitch. He's very good about responding to email.

It's a good product overall.
I'm buying a few other brands so as to compare.(prodigy and gg)

I did have an atty just die on me this week.
I was not able to open it to see what was inside.

Do you guys know how to open an atty?

What other atty can i buy for the Janty stick? These cost $15 each.
What other atty's will fit?

Thanks

Continuing on with my attempt to break in the 201 atty, I spent another couple of hours trying to bend it to my will with some success. Since it was making my relatively expensive juice blend taste like aluminum, I decided to make up a break-in vaping liquid (80% VG, 20% PG, a few drops of menthol). I loaded that up in the 201 and spent another couple of hours basically chain vaping and finally it began to taste tolerable. They must really load those things up with the priming fluid. Anyway, it continues to produce more vapor (I suspect these run hotter than normal) and it continues to have at least a hint of a burnt taste on the odd inhale, but the tighter draw allows you to hit the redline in a normal mouth inhale, because there's some resistance there. I don't know if I'd make this my daily atty, but it's good enough to consider it at least.
