here is a simple test.
vape with the passthrough system.
Then vape with the battery only.

The difference is huge.

i see no difference. seems somethings wrong with your device.

i checked the voltage of a battery charged through usb today, the meter reada 4.14V pretty much the same my cigar charger pushes into it.

Hi Guys, yes we are looking at this problem now, its a hard one to trace as only certain people are seeing it, I dont, and neither is our webmaster, although we believe its a script error being misread as a virus.

Guys, you can help by describing exactly what you saw, and telling me what Anti Virus software you are using

Im using Norton and seeing nothing..

start
run
cmd
ipconfig /flushdns
arp -d *
nbtstat -RR

That'll clean out your address references.

If that doesnt work check your hosts file.

Thanks for that Dorian... most helpful !

We are trying to find out why some people are getting this Trojan warning message whilst others are not.

I myself use Norton Anti Virus and am seeing nothing, also our webmaster is seeing nothing, so at the moment we can only imagine that there is a script error somewhere that is causing some Anti Viral software to believe its a virus.

I know nothing about tech stuff........so please guys bear with me on this one..

Im doing all I can to sort it.

Someone pass me a coffee !!!

there should be a differance sinse in USB mode your vaping at 5V
where as in batt mode your at 3.7V for the majority of the vaping
801s dont perform there best untill you get to 6V when they teansforme and become the best vape out there by far, you have to try to believe lol

thwe stick works great with a 901 or 510 though

it doesn't matter how you look at it ...the smaller the battery, the less the life and power you are going to get from it...it's the same kind of difference between having a pint of water to drink in the desert or a gallon of water. You can't put a gallon of water in a pint pot! .....and a pass through is like sitting beside a stream and having all the water you want. I know it's not an entirely true analogy but if the chemistry of the batteries you are comparing is identical then the analogy is correct.

I tend to agree with Janty not going above 3.7, but who knows! If this will take 2 e-cigar batteries, that's going to blow the Janty Stick's battery life out of the water. Especially if it only runs at 3.7v, in theory that would be about 8-10+ hours use. That was a HUGE selling point for me.
