Thank you for the info! I responded to your PM, but just as I went to send it, I received an error message saying the site was too busy, so I don't know if it sent or not.

As far as I know, the passthrough was not on B/O. Nothing on the listing or in the order email said anything about B/O.

:)

Was the passthrough you ordered in stock? I know some of the Dura stuff was on back order. I will PM you the email address where you can check on the order status.........

I have to interject into this 40+ page thread.

I understand the reason for people to possibly be agitated that their orders have not shipped. BUT:

If you are already vaping I would assume you already have an e-cig (if not multiples) to use until your JS arrives.

If you haven't started vaping yet, you have analogs until yours arrives.

Are the above statements true?

If so, waiting for a bit for this to come shouldn't be too huge an issue. Believe me I understand anticipation but to go so far as to track individual sequences and complain about items not shipping or who gets what first to the degree everyone has in this thread and to also let this degrade into a poop-throwing contenst is just rediculous.

Let's all be patient, they will all get to where they need to be when they can. Assaulting eachother and JantyMod over an object is rather harsh no?

I think most of us are doing this in fun. That's why when the rude nutcases come on here, we make fun of them. I can wait. I don't want to wait-- but, I can (not long, Jantymod. . . not too long!)

Well lol all remember that, sorry guys I was just ranting a bit but I'm done. Hopefully this is a rare thing for janty just hope this does not happen again. Guess I can be so impantent that it kinda got to me. When I emailed janty they said my order was sent but I wish I had a tracking code to it, are the janty mods able to find out what my tracking code is?

I will tell you this...

This is not a rare thing on new product from Janty.

Janty flopped during the Dura-C rollout.
Janty flopped during the Janty Stick rollout.

Hopefully, they will learn to be less aggressive on providing dates.

I don't say this to discourage you. The truth is that new product *always* has this kind of issue because you can never judge the demand properly. Do you make 1000 sticks on the first run and hope people buy 1000? Or do you order 25 sticks, take pre-orders, and then order as the pre-orders come in?

What happens when the pre-orders surpass the manufacturer's capabilities? Do you negotiate with the manufacturer to increase their head count when you know you will see a spike and then a level off with purchases?

How do you manage the unknown? How do you forecast the unsold?

So, Janty has a "good" business problem on their hands. They can't meet the demand. BUT, I will say this, they did *not* increase the price to meet the supply and demand equilibrium. With the law of supply and demand, technically, the Janty Stick should be priced somewhere around 149.00. But they kept the price low to make sure that everyone will be able to get one, eventually.

For that, I am grateful...because I sure as heck wouldn't buy one if the price was over what it is.

Hopefully they learned a bit...but do you think the e-hookah is going to have this type of demand? That's Janty's next challenge...how do you prepare for that release?

Wow that makes perfect sense and I totally understand on that one, well janty guys sorry for my rant lol just keep doing the best you can. Guess when you preorder something the anticipation just eats you up. Well my order number is 4474 maybe a janty mod can give me my tracking number and I would be all set!

Not exactly. I concur to your point we all need to get a life, but by golly the Janty stick is taking the place of my 801. I have gone broke buying batteries for the thing, but really like the large cart size, etc. The batts die down, fouls the attys., so what I really needed was a something like the Stick, cheaper to use but better battery power, thus more reliable. I ordered right away as soon as the deal was in, not one but three of them, one for my daughter and her husband too. And stopped ordering batteries for the 801. For the last three weeks I'm limping along on three batteries, charge 3 hours, use 1 hour. Then it turned into maybe MORE weeks, still limping here, still no word from Janty about my order(s), and no way will they answer my queries(only two, didn't want to bother them) on the web site. Passed right over my order number, no confirmation, no explanation, nothing. I know it takes 4 days for their priority mail to get here. I don't know how many they made and sold, but they seem to be pushing them out the door pretty fast. I know they're extremely busy, so am I??! Also am afraid. I've never gone without smoking this long, do you think if my 801 quits for good and all on me I'd go back to an analog?? It's a little scary, for me. Might seem like a little thing to some, pretty serious for others. Just FYI, if it matters to you.

Well, got mine today and charged the batts first. I'm a heavy vaper and love Janty products. I can't believe it but I just changed the batt after 9 hours. I don't know if this will be typical of all the batts but I'm gonna rotate and time them all.
Maybe it's only a consolation to all of those still waiting but it is worth the wait. You will be happy with the Janty Stick so hold on a little longer.
Now my wait begins anew as I am going to have to order more of these. Cheer up friends...they are on the way soon :)

I'm totally happy hearing about the batteries!! Biggest issue for me, 801 batts are too disposable. And expensive. So it looks good too?? I've got my little guys charging up, just waiting>>>Kate in Wisconsin

Okay, got mine today and I love it. It has a very easy draw, lighter than the Dura-C. I had ordered an extra batt with mine and charged all three before using (yeah, I like torturing myself a bit longer). I don't have a separate charger so just charged each one with the USB port while in the Stick, the whole time watching it next to me on my desk and drooling. It took approx. 20 minutes each for the batts to charge to full and then I commenced vaping and...Yumm!
I am a heavy vaper and I just changed the first batt after 9 hours. I just can't believe it lasted that long but I may have vaped a little more moderately today. All I can say is that it is very nicely put together, the batts last incredibly long (don't they all, at first?) and the vaper was very smooth, full of body, and very tasty. The atomizer seems to work just like the typical penstyle and doesn't get as hot as the 510 atty.
Overall I'm very pleased and will be ordering more of these as well as the necessary accessories. The promised atty adapters for the 510 will also be a great addition as I like those better than a penstyle but this is very nice even just as it is.

NOTE: I don't know if the short batt charge time was because they had a partial charge already or if it was due to charging while in the Stick via the USB cable. I suspect it is due to both. YMMV on how long they require to charge or how long they last while vaping. I just wanted to post some positive feedback of MY experience for those who are waiting and wondering if it is worth the wait. IMHO...this is worth the wait!

Yes it does look good and I posted a slightly better description of today's initial experience in Elendils' thread "Thoughts after getting your Stick." It feels good in your hands and looks like a chubby little flash drive. The little carrying case with belt clip looks nice too. Hang in there...I'm thinking you'll be happy with it. My compassionate side won't let me order more of them for a little bit because I want to keep more available for everybody else, but that won't last long. If I get through the next week before ordering a bunch more, it will surprise me :)

I just changed the batt after 9 hours.
8-o

My fully charged battery lasted 4hr50. I must be a heavy, heavy, heavy vaper. Analysing it, it may be because the Stick is so mild compared to the 901. I do a mini-pre-puff and then 2 biggish ones, taking in the second before breathing out the first. Hmm, well, I suppose it's better than half an ounce of tobacco a day ;)

Ok I got a quick question, when this thread posts it is mainly for Janty stick orders. Is there away to you can report on all of Janty's products particularly Dura-c. I sometime get confused when there is a post for shipping the stick in which I question if this affects the Dura-c. I am reading posts of some peeps receiving their orders and the same goes, are they shipping the Dura-c to.

Thanks-Drema
