Is anybody else reminded of what Santa Claus said in "The March of the Wooden Soldiers"?

"100 soldiers at 6 feet tall?! Oh my, I can't give those to my children to play with! I said 600 soldiers at 1 foot tall!!" Ho ho ho!

Ludo to the design team at Janty:

"Twin batteries? I said twin ATOMIZERS!" Ho ho ho!

(btw, I want one anyway) <g>

I got a bad switch. Doesn't always turn on when pressed, regularly does not shut off when released. Currently unusable.

My switch works, but is is peeling off and sliding around. Useable but worrisome.

Correction: it was just a plastic covering that was peeling. The switch itself seems solidly bonded.

Does JantyUSA think their atomizer will last six months OR are they offering to replace the atomizer for the next six months? Is there any catch?

No catch. Just email Ethan prior to sending back and refer to your order number that the atomizer was sent with

Also, I assume only the atomizer came with JS is under warranty. If buy another atomizer separately that's not covered by any warranty, correct?

No, If you purchase a Janty atomizer (not the TAWA version) it has the 6 month warranty.

Thanks, Elendil. That's a pretty good deal. Maybe Janty atomizers last longer. Mine, 2 weeks and still going strong.

Ludo, how about on top of the 2 batteries, come up with a housing for it that will snap on over the batteries? Maybe one for the top too? This would make it have a type of carrying case as well as the top would be removable so you could grip it all you want ant not hurt the batteries.

I, personally, like the open design of it. Kind of reminds me of some sci-fi steam punk design. It would be cool for a case though and I can definitely understand what they previous poster would be worried about.

I am actually curious about using it with a couple of USB passthroughs. :D

Thanks for the Help everyone. And thanks to Janty USA for the quick replacement of the janty stick.

Both atomizers and now working great no burnt taste. It seems i just wasnt useing them correctly. I got a system down now that has been working great for a few days now. thank God i didnt fry them learning how to use them. I think i could say im one level above a noob now :D. Havent touched an analog smoke in 2 days and feeling better.

Thanks everyone!

I have the 2 original batteries that come in the starter kit with the dura c and after about 2 months or so i stopped getting good hits and vapor. I thought maybe it was time to start a new atomizer but the second brand new one does the same thing . . . are my batteries just not good enough anymore. I've heard after while they just dont have enough voltage left to really cook the atomizer. Do I need new batteries ?? If so which are the best ones for replacements and should I also get a pass through ??

I rotated probably four batteries at a time, and after about 3 months or so, they just didn't seem to work as well. The main problem seemed to be they didn't hold a charge very long, and the vapor production decreased after the battery was about 1/2 way done. (For example, if the battery was lasting an hour, after about 1/2 hour, the vapor would be reduced.)

So, yes, it could be your batteries. I believe I'm correct in saying that your batteries are warrantied for 3 months, so send Ethan an email and ask him what he thinks.

And, yes, you should get a passthrough. Passthroughs are awesome. :D
