I made a purchase (order #7382) and attempted to use the JANTYLIQ coupon code and the website proclaimed the coupon was not valid.

Error message:
"Coupon code not found. Please try again.
If you have a coupon code, please enter it below:"

I put a note for in the comment section as per instruction for free juice preference. :confused:8-o:hubba::D

I decided to just make a small order on the sale and get juice and batteries from somewhere else. Didn't like the "Coupon code not found", so I took my business elsewhere.

I did eventually figure out that the JS can't be puffed like a 510. You definetely have to wait a little between hits to keep it from tasting burnt. Is this just the 801 cart/atomizers work? I mean the JS is basically just an 801 with a different form factor and a battery mod.

I use a PG/VG combo (about 50/50). This way I get the vapor production from the VG and the PG thins it out. It wicks well in the 510. But again, is this all just the way 801's are? I did follow the advice given earlier about keeping the fiber fill up to the top of the cart and not twisting it in. Still no change. I can't believe I'm struggling so much with this! I'm an experienced vaper with many months of 510 use and confounded why the JS is not working for me.

I would like to know the secret to doing PTB mods on 801 carts. The 510 carts are smaller and a single PTB fills the cavity pretty well so you don't get juice drippage out the mouthpiece. The PTB in the 510 is a total winner. I can vape a cart nearly dry every time. So do 801 folks use 2 PTB's to fill the space effectively?

Again, thanks for all the help! Still want to make the Janty my main weapon.

I agree with timbrown... we each vape differently, each of us exerts a different pressure when we inhale, add that to the viscosity of the juice we are using, and density of filling, the juice may not run down the atomiser quickly enough for the next time you inhale.

I have had my stick now since June, I prefer the Janty Atomiser, which I believe is a Joye 304 therefor not the same as any 801 out there, but its down to the individual, each has their own preference.

The Janty Stick in my opinion is one the best, most reliable ecigs out there, with a decent battery life...

Long Live The Stick !

I dont think it means that at all... it just means that tests must have shown a weakness or something that they want to be sure is A OK before they release it... at least thats how I am taking it, and I am pleased they are doing that, rather than letting us find the potential faults.. so well done Janty...

Lets face it.. we dont know what the Cameo consisted of, as no one guessed it...lol

Thank you Janty for having a creative marketing campaign that interacts with your customer base and gives people a chance to offset the expense of our vaping habbit by winning a contest. ...

I would probably add: Janty, please stop having 12-year-olds do your marketing.

I have nothing against Janty. On the contrary -- I admire the company for doing so many things right and better than the competition, for being one of the few that keep pushing the PV industry forward. But after reading this entire thread, I think it could be used as an example of how not to do marketing and PR.

I find it disappointing that the company is willing to put so much effort into designing innovative products but sabotage itself with sloppy marketing. A marketing pro would have been able to either avoid these types of public fiascos or resolve them without much perception damage, he/she would have been able to stop internal "cool" ideas from ever going to general public.

I know that Janty is not a large company, but I think it is large enough to hire marketing pro to run that side of the business. If Janty already has such person, it needs to either get someone better, or give that person enough authority to make hard decisions.

Is it just me or does it seem presumptuous for someone on the outside to be telling a company how to run their business?

This was a suggestion from a happy customer who desires for Janty to thrive. Of course, Janty doesn't know my credentials, so I don't really expect them to take any action. But maybe someone there will at least consider the possibility that there are ways to avoid these types of incidents.

And yes, without revealing my credentials anything I write can be considered presumptuous. That is fine. I've been called much worse... :)

I hope you are right because there were several features people "guessed" that would make Cameo a must-have device for me. I guess we'll just have to wait...
