Thanks again. So the screw is adjustable in case I need it longer on other mods? Nothing will fall apart? :w00t:
It adjustable but only a tiny bit. I took my screws off when I first got them for cleaning and checking it out. Looks like it doesn't hold anything together

There should be one in the spares bag. A lot of people either lost it when first cleaning the tank or it wasn't installed at the factory. They seem to pop out easily. If it turns out that you want spares these look like a possible 1:1 replacement.

I'm still having some dry hit issues. Am I supposed to tuck the cotton where you can see it through the juice hole?

I sit my cotton right on top of the cup if you can see any at all through the hole its very little
I do make sure the tails go all the way to the bottom up to the front of the channel
I have run a 26ga 1.0 ohm coil up to 50 watts with no dry hits while chain vapeing
I would have gone higher but it got a little hot for my taste

Got 2 Merlin's 2 days ago from eciggity...one stainless and one black ....loving the tanks but my black one has a really loose juice flow control ...turns with little to no effort...the stainless one is perfect ....contacted eciggity and this what they told me

"Weare going to contact the manufacture if they can send us replacements for the loose AFC rings. It seems that this is a common issue for the Black Merlin. We will let you know once we are contacted back.
