Mesh over the wick without res. wire .. Is it possible ?

I think that everybody that has managed to make a perfect mesh setup, has been stacked to mesh ... As I know, with the classic way via oxidizing, the mesh is trouble ...It is difficult to make it right ..

I will try to make a setup with a big piece of mesh, rolled on the wick for take a 3 Ohm resistance ...
I guess that there is no problem if the mess is all over the wick (without the twisting gaps)

at the first time i was tryed to make a mesh resistance i did it like you want to do it
yes it works but i think its much better to do it as the usuall way(nr-mesh-nr) as a usual coil
and wrap it aroynd the wick

My friend don't do it. I don't recommend you doing it. if its not done right the ohms will not be stable and it will jump around all over the place and you don't want that when your pressing power on the ggts. if you do decide to do it anyway please be careful and watch the ohms make sure they stay constant once looped around wick.

Too late my friend! The ohms did bounce like a ping pong ball for a bit, but after some adjustments I got it stable at 1.8 which was not bad! I'm on a Provari (I know, sacrilege on a GG thread...) so the built-in protection would've kicked in, I'm guessing and I surprisingly didn't get any errors despite the ohms instability in the beginning. So I've been vaping it on and off for a few hours (ohms still holding steady). Only issue is that I don't feel as if I'm getting any real flavor out of the Penny with this setup. Vapor like a freight train after going up slowly from 3.5V to 3.9v, but not much flavor. Thoughts?

i made a mesh coil today
Before burn it, i measure 3.0 Ohms. After vaping 5-10 min at 4.2 V i got 0.9 Ohms
Is this normal ?

why you burned it?
i measure mine (without burning it) and its stable
i think that you oxidize your mesh and that maybe reduce ohms
i have mine from last noon (dual)and its at 1ohms stable
i think that you must NOT burn your mesh

Thats correct ... I am using this setup (as Imeo show us) and its stable at 1 Ohm.. I have already vape 10 ml and it is going good

If I remember right, we should oxidize the mesh when we want not to short with the res. wire... At this setup that we talking about, we dont want this (we havent res wire at all) .. So we dont oxidize the mesh

hit penelope with your mesh wire at 6 volts with a GGTS Dom and you will see incredible smoke without burn taste at all

i just made a dual mesh coil on Iatty (the king of the kings)
its amazing the HEAT and the FLAVOR
also ody is very very good with mesh
i don't have a peny to try it,but i will take my friend's peny and make a mesh coil for him

I have considered trying to do a mesh-coil for my Iatties, but i think it will be quite a struggle in that small ceramic.
I have often wondered if it were possible to design a new ceramic for Iatty. The height is limited, but there is enough width to make someting as wide as Penelopes ceramic....

why you burned it?

No, i didnt oxidize it, sorry for misunderstanding
I mean before install it an fire it up
Its very strange ..
Also, when it fires, i got red spots only to the connections of mesh and NR wire. Even with dry burning, mesh wont become red at all
I'll do it again, maybe i made something wrong

i made 6 coils of mesh today ,on my friends atomaizers,and all of them become red
the biggest ohm that i made was 1,6ohms
