Metallic Taste from Clearos

It seems like all 3 types of clearos I use emit a slight metallic taste with the vapor. I've washed them well before using and it is present with all the various juices I vape. Does anyone else taste it? Is this just taste coming off of the nichrome coils and/or metal parts of the clearos that come in contact with the juice? It has a pretty distinct metallic undertone. I notice it more with one note fruity vapes. I think the more complex juices of bakery or tobacco nature do tend to mask it more, but I still pick it up. I wish there was a way to create vapor without heating the juice directly on metal. On a side note, I am very allergic to nickel when in contact with it on my skin, so far I don't think it's bothering me with vaping, but it makes me wonder if it could.

Please List your:
Devices
Flavors that are doing this(Most noticeable)
Power used - Vaping settings if VV or VW
Hard to find solutions without some Idea of what is NOW producing the effects.

Some are sensitive to NiChrome and others Detect taste from Kanthal((branded)) but different composition)
Thanks

I noticed it from day 1 of vaping. I've been vaping for 1 month now using PT2mini, EVOD and iclear16's, 35+ juices from different vendors and it is always present to some degree. I think it's just a drawback to vaporizing liquid directly on a metal coil, plus the juice also bathing in contact with the metal parts of the clearo... it just is what it is. My theory anyway. I was just wondering if anyone else notices it and if it bothers you.

ITVV3's, PT2 mini, EVODS, icear16's. 6-9 watts, depending on juice.

I saw a video of 10 bloggers giving their predictions for vaping in 2014. One that really caught my attention was PBusardo saying a great breakthrough in technology would be a new alternative to creating vapor, without direct coil vaporization. I thought wow, me too. We might just be absolutely blown away by better flavor! I wonder how much flavor is destroyed and altered by direct coil vaporization. I think that would be an awesome shift in technology and I hope someone is working on it :)
