I have been pondering the idea for a brick and mortar store... but near the grand rapids area. I also thought about talking to the head shops and seeing if they could at least add some ejuice to their store. So we don't always have to get things online. My bf keeps saying that I should open my own store. I just wouldn't know where to start. I just think that even a kiosk in the mall would be handy. Not with odd brand ecigs that only work w/its own brand but stuff you could easily buy online if you wanted, stuff that is more convenient and at a little over regular price. Any ideas or suggestions, or like thoughts?

I worked for a company in the Lakes mall in Muskegon. The rent my boss was paying was over 2000 a month. You can rent a storefront for cheaper. I know there are a couple of storefronts in the West Michigan area the Kalamazoo vapor shop and Lakeshore vapors in Muskegon. All you have to do is under sell them. I hope it works out for you, but the mall is not the place to set up shop.

Well thats why I was thinking of going to a head shop first like shakedown street and see if they would be interested in carrying that sort of thing. It would help with the promotion and I could put it up so that way local people in mi know where they could go to get some of the common or simple things. I want to help newbies get started the right way, and then once they've done some looking into it, be able to get them on track to a heftier pv. I've seen a lot of people start with a starter kit and that isn't a cheap way nor the most handy way to start. If I would have had my pt and clearos from the get-go I never would have lasped.

Maybe you should consider opening up a e-cig booth in a local flea market? High price and LOW rent compared to malls and head shops. I bought my second DSE801 pen style e-cig from a booth at the flea market for $75. Found the exact same e-cig on line ( x-mas gifts ) from Vapor King for $30.

Do I feel ripped off, absolutely NOT because I did stop smoking. Do I have more money since ordering from Vapor King. Absolutely! When we know better, we do better. This e-cig world is a learning experience and were always looking for the next best thing. I assume it must be the addict in us, always trying to feed the nicotine addiction.

Go for it miss_kitty and do what your gut tells you. I do believe theres lots of money to be made with vaping products for sale.

Sometime in January were going to have a vaping meet at Leos Lodge in Lansing so maybe you can join us? http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/michigan-vapers/234897-michigan-vapers-meet-up.html

Good luck!
