Have to work a bazillion hours but as soon as I can I will start a "magic" twisted ribbon thread.
If not done just right the results are diminished.
I wouldn't want y'all trying with inferior "magic" and thinking it isn't good.

Ok, you have my attention here - always yearning for max flavor even though I'm really ok with my current 28g micro setup. Has anyone found a source for the .6 x .07mm K A-1 ribbon prescribed? Temco shows only .6 x .1 unless I'm just missing it, and I don't see that size on ebay either. Looking forward to your how-to thread for this...
Contacted seller and he is out of town for 2 weeks.
He has about 5000 ft left but can get more from his supplier overseas.
Let him know he might have a run on it once he puts it back online.
I am not going to post where I get it from out of respect until he gets back so he wont be flooded with emails while he is on vacation.
I do not have any made up currently except for a short personal backup piece.
I do not plan on selling any made up wire but will be happy to share the process.
I have a small electrical contracting company and am very very busy right now.
It is either feast or famine and I have to work as much feast as I can for the eventual famine time.
Working during the day with my tools and at night estimating, scheduling, etc.
I will try real hard this weekend to do a video but I cant guarantee it.
With such short spare time available I spend what I can with my wife.
I have a trade show next weekend so will be out of pocket then.
Please be patient.

Skipping back from my mailbox singing "Do you believe in magic..."
Well, I must say that this stuff is mind-blowing!
Mundy's Magic Wire + Xobedriver @ .9ohm
The flavor and vapor is incredible!
I wasn't sure how many wraps I needed, so my coil wound up slightly higher resist than usual, but it is fantastic as-is!
I'd have to rate the flavor on par (if not a step up) from R41.
I am very pleased with this stuff and eagerly await the how-to video!

I agree, Xo, that it is even better than R41. Best I've had! Based on your build and mine, it looks like one could estimate resistance by #wraps + 1 = Ω. (I'm counting your long "driver" legs as a wrap). Or a straight #wraps=Ω
yep. sounds about right. I wrapped on a 17ga, so it is almost exact to R41 resist. 1 wrap = .1Ω
