Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Has anyone else had the resistance in their coil change after a hot dry burn?

I made a 10 coil 30A1 micro that tested at 2.1 ohms right after building.

I dry burned the coil red hot several times quenching with water distilled water as an extra step in removing any impurities before slipping in the cotton. I tested it again and now it's at 1.5 ohms and staying there.

Did I burn off something from the wire?

Hey Statistic, what are you wrapping those coils at? I've tried dual coil micros and can't seem to get enough heat quickly enough to produce a satisfying vape. Was using 28 guage in my Trident wrapped to 1.5 ohms each at 1/16", giving an effective resistance of .7 ohms or so.

I didn't measure this with my meter, but the VAMO says it's .7ohm

It's in an IGO-W with both air holes drilled to 1/16" and I have to admit... it's too much. The coils are 12 wraps of 26g Kanthal, next time I'll be doing probably 14-16 wraps. My IGO-L with a single 26g 12 wrap is a MUCH more enjoyable vape.

:?: "I mustache you a question . . . . "

" . . . . but I'm shaving it for later" :p

Enough of this "shopping" chit-chat. As my little RM2 has only the two posts, I ran my dual coils for the day on the same wick.

and dressed it up like a foppish old Brit.

Swg, ohm's, dia etc ???

Funny you should ask, UKP, beeeeeeecaaaauuuuuse, I was just tweaking it. And the thing I wanted to mention is this. It was 29g Kan., dual coil, 1/16" (std. Micro), 0.7Ω. It felt sluggish. (8 wraps). I unwound 1 wrap, 0.6Ω, and now it's kicking just right. (Substantial difference in performance.) Maybe it was a contact issue (which I very much doubt). But, really, it seemed like I crossed some critical line btwn too much wire, and just right. hmmmmmmmm. Somebody git out'cher Math Hat!

I can't decide which voice is more humorous to imagine delivering that line, Sean Connery or the Most Interesting Man In The World (from the Dos XX commercials)

Update:

I've been hitting the Igo-L last couple days with great flavor. The difference, for me, was to use more cotton. By using a bit more, wetting it a bit with RO water, and twisting it tight, I was able to put more cotton into the micro coil resulting in an increase in flavor. Good stuff man. Took quite a bit of tweaking but finally hit my sweet spot with the micro coils.

Thanks to all who helped.

Out of curiosity, what is RO water? Regular Old? Congrats on getting it right

I don't know if the way I get my wick in the coil might be useful to others but I take a piece of thin aluminum foil a couple times bigger than a postage stamp and roll the end of the wick in it to end up with something like the end of a shoe string and thread it through.

I personally haven't had that much of problem threading rolled cotton through. When I used ekowool, I didnt really have that big of problem as longs as I torch then only wet the tip, and zero frays.

lol, wet the tip

Agreed. I like to get the coil right up to the air hole. For me excessive wick doesn't do anything except prevent leaking on certain RBAs. All that juice doesn't really make it to the coil anyway, although rolled cotton does the best job at it. For Ekowool the excess wick is just a mop.

A short rolled cotton wick will suck up everything in the well. In the second pic the well was full with juice & the cotton sucked it all up.
