Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Hey guys, just checking in with my latest. I'll be going back to building on the REO now lol.

This PIA build is a Dual Split Nano Coil. 28g, 10 wraps each then split in half giving me a 5 wrap quad nano setup. Dragon Coil style wicking at .36 ohms. Reminds me of a rocket on test fires like a Saturn 5 (yea, yea... that rocket had 5 boosters).

Action vid:

Talkin about bikes, and this ^^^ gave me a heck of an idea...but I gotta wait til the vape shop opens so I can use their ohm meter...

I'm really frustrated. I've been making my own coils now for about 2 months and I've got them down perfectly. I have the ohm tester, different size wicks and wire but for the life of me can NOT figure out what I'm doing wrong in one area. When I put fill a new evod/iclear/vivi etc etc I get that '' cracking popping sound'' that you hear when the juice hits the coils. It's an awesome sound of your new coil goodness right? Well, whenever I make my OWN I NEVER get that sound, and the vapor just isn't there enough. I get throat hit, flavor and it burns fine, but not the crackle-pop. I've watched about 100 hours of video and read everything I think I'm supposed to, but I know I'm doing something wrong. Can ANYONE please help direct me or help? Thanks a ton!

Are you rebuilding tanks or an rba?

Okay okay... everything is subjective blah blah blah...

But... I want to know everyone's opinion on the optimal Reo Setup for flavor and warmth. I will now abandon clouds on the Reo until the sub-ohm kit comes out. Too many pages to sift through here lol.

Throat hit is irrelevant since I vape 0 nic on the Reo. I have a 2mm airhole. I have tried at least 6 different setups on the Reo and just can't seem to find one that I like. I'm too used to sub-ohming below .5 and as we Reonites know (still get giggities being able to say I'm in the club), it's not ideal for that.

I will say that Mundy's meat grinder looks very appealing lol. Is that just twisted ribbon wires? I'm also ordering a Triangle atty to drill a smaller hole. Will probably drill a 1/16 in it.

Thanks guys!

Im going 0.3ohm all the time on my REO no problem. But of course i did a quite a few modifications to the mod to be able to handle that kind of current.

I go basic 5 wraps 2-parallel micro coil. Scary warm - im ripping it out to change it into something else, since the drip tip gets almost scalding after 2 hits. Great clouds and flavor.

I have a crazy question when I do vids and review of my builds and go to blow out the vapor my clouds look bigger, but most other reviewers look like the are just doing mouth hits and not lung hits. Why is this?

Forgive my thickness, i dont understand what you are asking... Your vapor looks bigger BUT other reviewers are not doing lung hits... I see no logical connection here.

Anybody use silica or ekowool with their micros? I'd like to try a more durable wick on mine but have no clue what size to order. 1mm seems fitting.

Currently wrapping 3/64" diameter so it's gotta fit in either that or a 5/64". Thoughts?

I tried ekowool with a larger bore micro coil (being liberal with the term here), about 3/32. I didnt like the result. I find that at the same size, cotton holds more juice and thus holds up better to the concentrated heat of micro.

I have seen some people use ekowool and like it, however; so its still an option.

If it works fine why do you need the sound?

The crackles come from irregularities of contact between the coil and the wick. Its neither desirable nor undesirable - its just a by-product with no bearings on vape quality as far as i can understand.

Thanks Kanj, I may stick with cotton afterall. The only issue I'm having is after 10 or so really good hits my juice starts to caramelize into some sort of thick, sweet, sometimes salty hodgepodge of a flavor. Clearer liquids don't do this, but I don't have many of those right now.

I'm guessing this is because of the incredibly small size of my RDA the Optimus S. I think the small chamber size is causing issues when using micro coils. Tends to brown/cook any over-drippage into the aforementioned muddled flavor. It's still good to vape, but not nearly as satisfying as a clean fresh hit.

I'm going to pick up an Igo-T instead and see how that works out.

The caramelizing of juice comes from underheating - a part of the juice does not receive enough heat to evaporate but instead gets "boiled", resulting in the paste-like substance you see clinging on your wick. I suggest cranking up the temperature for thicker/ darker juices.

Hopes this helps.

Basically how are youll make the large clouds mouth hits or lung hits.

The general consensus is that lung hits make better clouds simply because you are keeping in a larger volume of vapor before exhaling.

To answer your question as to why people dont do it, well, lets just say big clouds arent the only mark of a good build. Personally i find it a pointless thing to focus entirely on clouds without paying attention first to flavor delivery or consistency of vape quality. For me big clouds are more of a nice bonus to other things than the primary goal. There are finer things to vaping than that.

Can't say I've ever seen a "paste-like substance" on my wicks, but I very much appreciate the tip. I'd been dropping my watts to see if that would help but no luck really.

I'll experiment with higher temps and tweak my ohms if need be. :thumb:

Wait... You mean upping your watts right? Thats what i meant...

my recommendation, dual coil cyclone... :)
