Hey all, just wanted to give another update on my oval coil build....I made another coil with 28 gage, 9 wraps, 1.6 ohm, wicked with cotton. The oval shape is situated vertically about 1.5 mm or so above the air hole in my R91. I have it sitting angled between the two posts, with the wick tails resting on the deck as the original instructions suggest. I have no wicking issues whatsoever, and I can do 3 pulls with no dry hits or burnt taste. I think this is gonna be my regular build from now on until I find something that works better. Great taste, very good vapor production, though I'm not chasing clouds, the vapor production is very good to me. I think my next wick will have a longer tail so I can cross it over the top of the coil. When I changed to the 1.6 ohm coil, I noticed a bit of burnt
juice on the top and sides of the coil, so I'm hoping the wick over the top will help reduce that. Otherwise, Im gonna have to clean the coil after every
tank. Suggestions anyone??
