Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

I need feedback from KFL owners:
which is better for you , 1.5mm ID micro coil or 2mm ID mini coil ?
My coils range between 1.3 to 1.8 ohm
(using cotton wick)

I use 2mm (5/64) or 2.3mm (3/32) for the juices I vape. Since they are primarily naturally extracted tobaccos, I find that anything smaller gets gunked up too fast for me to get anything good from it.

What gauge wire you using? 2mm with 28g and 9 wraps will get you around the 1.3ohm mark. 2.3mm with 28g and 9 wraps will get you around the 1.8ohm mark.

Your 3rd question gave me diabetes trying to figure out what the hell you are talking about

Lol sorry about that! What I mean is you turn the flat ribbon wire 90 degrees so the tin side is facing the mandril. It would be extremely difficult to coil and might tear the ribbon. You'd probably also have to use a thicker mandril. Currently I'm thinking about what I could use to make the ribbon keep standing upright. Might only work with 0.3x0.1 or so. Unfortunately I only have nicrome flat ribbon wire and I think I got a metallic taste off of that so I'm hesitant to use that for anything now.

The idea would be that you would get a higher cross warming effect from ribbon wire (heats up faster) and also both sides of the wire would be equally exposed to wicking. It might also have aerodynamic properties / higher air speed when vapor gets compressed in between those flat ribbons.

I guess it's probably pretty much impossible to create this :p

Thanks for the links!

PS: About my question about the "best" ribbon wire, I am not so much looking to create a specific resistance since I use a regulated device and I can output the same wattage within limits. Just thinking alound about trying something new to increase vapor or flavor.

I use 28g and 29g. Are you using 100% VG juices ? I use until now 30/70 and 50/50. What do you mean by gunked up ?

Well have the Russian and I used twisted tiger wire, wrapped around a 18 gage blunt tip syringe needle, bent into a dual series inverted V-twin coil with Ramie fiber external wrapped wick. Pushed to 30 watts, vapes fracking great.

Here's me current coil:

This.. This is a one day old coil/wick, with one of my heavy gunkers, from back when I was using silica wicks.

so how much does the size of the ID affect warmness of the coil or TH?

I have a twisted 26g at .5ohm on 5/64 drill bit but Im thinking of trying 1/16. I could easily try it but Im swamped with work and dont wanna waste my time if 1/16 will be a really hot and harsh TH.

You'll love it. Give it a try. My coils are between 1.6mm and 1.8mm. in both tanks and drippers. Your 1/16 in is at 1.6mm. I gave up on 2mm or 5/64 quite awhile ago

I usually do 1.4mm or 1.6mm with twisted 28 but since I have a even more lower resistance coil I figured the vape would be too hot on a 1/16 or lowers. Thanks Ill give it a shot tonight.

you just have to adjust the way you vape, going down in id is kind of like pumping up your power for more satisfying shorter hits
so long as you don't keep hold of your button as long as you use to and take a nice big pull to keep the coil cooler you'll be fine

when I was using a trident a while back the nic was a little on the high side but I found the way to overcome most of it and the TH was to pull even harder, getting lots of air through rather then taking short little pulls

gl hope it helps

Can someone post a wicking method for a RDA with a single coil that will cover the other side of the RDA with wick to soak up extra juice?

I wanna be able to dripp as much cotton as I can so the wick doesnt get dry as faster. Also a method that covers the top of the coil too.

Not a dripper, but my experience is that more cotton is a bad thing. More cotton does not mean more juice at the coil, and seems to gunk up faster. I also was doing the pdib comb over (a bit of cotton on top of the coil), but also found that to be inferior.

Sounds like you want to drip, but you don't want to drip. Maybe a different atty is in order.

you could do a vertical coil with cotton going down through just enough cotton to touch the deck but leave a load overhanging out of the top, a big long bush on top :D
