Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

So friends and family. Anyone micro coiling a KFL? I know I do. So i have this microcoil that is still going since 10 months no kidding. I can't remember how I did it but It is great. Now I have my other kfl which I'm trying to coil. 8 wraps 28g around a 1.55 mm. 1 ohm. Cotton wick. Dry hits all the time. It is a 15 watts coil. Dry hitting like there is no tomorrow. I know how to wick a KFL I've been doing it to my other one for 10 months. Maybe I should run it less? How are your experiences with the high wattage kfl?

I have been running this set up in my Kaydiddlyfuns .30ga / 8 wraps? / 1.65ohm / KGD soaked with Grants Vanilla Custard( like to be at 1.5-1.6ish with Grants). My tobacco's I like to be 1.3 - 1.4ish

Before KGD with Lilly Snc Cotton Yarn - similar coil.

Well. I have both and I would be willing to send a square of each to 10 or so members on this thread to do a taste/performance test or if a member had one but not the other I could send just ine square.

I'm still waiting to hear from KGD and Shiseido on what compounds, if any, organic or otherwise, come into contact with the product. I've had no time to follow up. Been in trial.

Running the Russian at 30 watts, never a dry hit. Main thing with kayfun style atomizers is to fold the wick tails straight up when securing the containment ring, otherwise risk clogging juice channels with stands of fiber. That and density through/around coil are the 2 considerations for maximum wicking potential.

aalwani I hear you! I have tried to go with micro and high wattage in my kfl and I get dry hits too. Anything above 12 watts and it's no go. I have tried silica, ecko, and cotton. I fold my wicks up when putting on the chimney and I have not as of yet discovered the secret to no dry hits at higher watt settings. I will keep trying, and if I discover the cure, I will share. By the way I use 50/50 juice.

I use a veritcal coil @1.5 ohms and i vape it @20 watts. The thing is with the vertical coil, you wrap the cotton around it and not directly through it. An you also use more cotton with a veritcal coil as well :)

Please share your way of doing it. I am ready to learn!

Usually a 1.6 mm ID 28g kanthal 8 wraps gives about 1.0 ohm on regulated mods.

6 wraps of 26 on mechs for 0.55 ohms unless its a DNA30

Less is more on the cotton. It leaves alot of room on the deck for juice to fill. Taper the wick end so it will seek the path of least resistence. I really look at my wick before putting on the chimney cylinder. Make sure its a smooth path with the least amount of distance and gradual bends. I fluff it a bit right at the coil with the sharp end of my tweezers. I use Japanese cotton. Best wicking ever due to parallel fibers. Just think of it as a road for the juice to travel and using common sense, make it a smooth, well constructed road.

Also, air control is a factor. Tighter and more juice will be pulled in but too tight and it may not be enjoyable. The way you draw is also a factor. I do shorter harder draws at higher wattages. Long steady ones and the wick might not catch up.

Depending on my mod/atty setup, my draw changes. I seem to do it seemlessly now without thinking.

Hope this helps. I'm sure others can help too.

Thanks sedge! Appreciate your help. Been really frustrating for me on the kfl at high wattage. I will carefully do a build using your method. I have KGD cotton to work with.
