Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Hi Paul!

that's good! I have to change my efest 1600's twice sometime's three time's in a day if I go to .4ohms.

because of the drop off on the efest in performance I normally make a coil that hit's good when the battery is lower, and with a fully charged battery just take shorter hits.

I hate having to compromise but ive only had these efest 4-5 months so i'll use these up first.

Did you find a cheap place to buy them ?

I got them from uk-ecigstore for £7.50 each.

Yup! I've just been looking, seem cheap enough :) I was hoping to get the Cyclops afc without the base from them to but they don't list the Cyclops jacket on it own, maybe it will be listed when they get them in stock  Anyone know if they normally sell the Cyclops afc part on it's own without the base at uk-ecigstore??

I got them from uk-ecigstore for £7.50 each.

I hate baby sitting these efest on the charger all the time, 2 of the sony's will last just as long as the 6 efest I have

I'm trying to solve what's wrong with my Cyclone build. It's a 0.73Ohm coil, 1.4mm inner diameter and wicked with cotton. Basically, it's the exact same build as my RM2 and Immortalizer. However, on the Cyclone, it keeps hitting like a dry hit: harsh with only the acidic flavors of my fruit juices coming thorough. It's less harsh if I keep the hits short with the AFC wide-open. It's not a real dry hit though, since my cotton wicks (I've replaced it several times now) all come out clean and un-scorched.

I have a feeling it is an airflow problem. How are the other Cyclone guys here positioning your coils? Are you placing it closer to the center of the deck or towards the air hole? Are you placing it higher or lower?

Thanks for your input!

What is that your using for a stand?

That's the atty stand/tool that comes with the Rose 2 by Eden mods. Has 3 functions, one end has a 510 threaded hole, the other end has a hole large enough to fit a drip tip or just set the atty down with out threading, and on the side is a posted tool that fits in the base of the Rose for easy disassembly of the base. Awesome building tool.

I haven't looked into the sonys properly yet but I notice they have different number's is it, like VTC5 OR VTC4 or something similar, which are the best paul?

VTC4's is what I am using, the VTC5's have 400 more mah's but the 4's have a higher amp pulse limit. Also have the Efest Purple 35 amp batts that are nice also. Much more available power than an AW for sure. Don't even use AW's anymore.

Close to the edge of the deck, about 1.5mm off the deck and directly behind the airhole.

I'm not using an AFC. Here's a pic from a few months back. I trim the right side wick shorter now.

Your coil is a bit too close to the top cap and airhole, your inhaling the hot air.

Loosen the post screws and pull the coil in towards the posts some.

This would be my semi-educated guess as to what's going on.
Much of this ^. And as SX noted, align your air with coil, a good habit for all atomizers with top cap air flow. The higher the coil from the deck the more TH.

what wire is that ernest?

and what cotton are you using?

if you place your coil below the air intake you will get more flavour come through with less TH and if you raise it up higher above the airhole for more TH

also make sure the air can circulate around and underneath the coil like this...

Seems I have to move the coil higher and closer to the posts?

I believe you want to try Exactly the opposite.

As a rule of thumb, You want your coil as close to the air source as possible. By raising and lowering a coil in the air path, one has more control of variables. When a coil is close to the posts and away from the air source, give up a good portion of this control.

Here is what I have learned about height above deck / TH:

Close to the deck = Less TH because air is passing over the coil.

As you raise the coil, more air is passing under the coil and TH increases.

In your case, as a baseline, I would start by pulling the coil out from the posts and closer to the edge of the deck.

I would then lower the coil to about 1.5mm off the deck. :)

Hey ernie, when you put the cap on, take a flash light and point it down the cap. Adjust your coil so it's the only thing you can see through the AFC. I get a harsh TH whenever I don't see the coil through the AFC hole. Personally, I get the best flavor when I get it as close as possible and center to the hole.

I had some cotton ball's that I hadn't washed properly that would give me what you are explaining ernest, was also burning my lip's and throat at low ohms.
you could just try one cotton ball if that is what you use and you washed them yourself.
I overlooked the cotton for a long long time.
put one cotton ball in a cup of boiling water from the kettle, then place in a microwave and heat up till you see it boiling again, take the cup and make sure you pour the water out, as most of the crap floats on the surface, then squeeze out the rest of the moisture and dry.
it's worth a shot, as like I said I was adamant it wasn't the cotton, but it made a huge difference.

Also another thing, I make my own juice and if I put to much flavour in I will get what you've explained, and mostly with fruits for some reason.
