Microcoils
Has anyone tried making Microcoils inside their Penelope, Oddy, or Ithaka? There is a big thread on Microcoils and it caught my eye as I went through some 12 pages out of like 200+. It supposedly gives you the power of a sub ohm coil but it isn't sub ohm as it is usually around 1.5 ohms.
I have been enjoying making and using dual coils in my Penelope but I would like to do more experiments, and so I ordered some 30g A-1 Kanthal wire (which is recommended) to try this out and to see how it is. Some more information on it if you're interested, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...271-micro-coils-increase-vapor-flavor-th.html
Is it possible to use no Non-Resistance wire and just use the resistance wire in the Penelope or Oddy?
I did some searching but there isn't a lot of information on it out there from what I can see. It would be nice to use just the resistance wire in order to remove the hassle of welding or twisting on the NR wire to the Resistance wire. Food for thought.
Reusing the same coil
Lastly, has anyone reused their build by just taking out the gunked up wick and sliding in a new wick? I've heard of some users doing this and says that it works. I'll try it out when my current build weakens.
